Los Arcos is a very nice place to stay but it is a little bit far from restaurants and cafe.

An average property with limited facilities, no comfortable lounge area, small pool, a distance from central Nerja & dining/bar areas. Restaurant food was nice and repetitive breakfast which was adequate. Limited parking. Supermarket adjacent, little public transport so walk down into town 20 mins and 10 euro taxi back up. Nerja is nice and some nice beaches. If you do Alhambra Palace independently be aware ID needed such as passport or driving photo licence to get in if you just roll up. Hope this helps. Los Arcos hotel is fine clean, tidy reasonable size rooms just a bit too far out in a personal level to say would recommend or stay again.

Great hotel,even better with these travel tips.
Top class hotel,staff wonderful, room magnificent, food very good, and well priced.Happy hour 5.00pm until 9.00 pm!!! Lovely pool. A very minor difficulty is distance from town centre, about a mile depending upon route, but town bus one Euro pp, and taxi about six Euros per trip. Discover bus stops and the two taxi ranks, and life becomes a pleasure !

The hotel and grounds are lovely, though not so easily walkable from the bus station. Once there, the bar, dining, and breakfast are well above average. The pool and pool area have lovely views of the Mediterranean. The room was huge by European standards. Great place for a few nights.

Staff were lovely (especially Rosa). Breakfast hours good, served until 11am but limited choice, restuarant served good evening meals. Lunch snacks that were supposed to be available between 1-3.15pm were not despite menus on tables in the outside bar area. Rooms quite basic - shower dated, aircon leaked onto the TV underneath. Pool was lovely but sometimes not enough loungers for guests.

This is a lovely traditional Spanish hotel with great staff and fantastic views down over a Nerja to the sea. The pool area is lovely and peaceful with plenty of sunbeds. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and there is a great very reasonable bar with a 4 hour happy hour! We loved it.

Lovely smaller hotel with a fantastic pool area and views down to the sea. Set in a good location with excellent sized balconies if you like more space outside. The buffet breakfast is decent but more limited to bread/pastries and some fruit but plenty of it. We had a superior room which was worth the small supplement and €20 to keep the room late on our day of departure was excellent value. Fantastic staff (especially Rosa) and the bar is very cheap and great for Happy Hour! Wonderful stay.

Stayed one night, the hotel is across the street from a grocery store and has a restaurant attached to the hotel. The bed was comfortable however, the towels were rough very old. The room was filled with silverfish bugs. Contiously running around the room all night. The hotel itself looks a bit outdated.

Second visit
This was our second visit to Los Arcos. It had been refurbished since our last stay to a very high standard. Very good for a quieter stay without constant music playing.

My main issue with this stay was the breakfasts. It was just awful. The choice was incredibly limited. Everything baked was packaged and tasteless. The only cooked option were scrambled egg or bacon. I informed the hotel of my complaint and being vegetarian and yet they were incredibly rude and didn't care at all The level of customer service was horrendous. I tried a piece of dry toast one day and when I opened the butter it was mouldy. The receptionist insisted on opening other butters and basically insinuated I was lying. The towels in the room were so small I would consider them more hand towels and were not changed at all for the 4 night stay! The fridge in the room was incredibly loud (especially when trying to sleep). It was also warm too and therefore couldn't even keep water inside it. Hotel said this was normal as it isn't a fridge just a minibar. The TV did not work at all in the room. The 'free toiletries' provided is one blue liquid in the shower and next to the sink that is in a single container and clearly meant to act as an all in one. There were some other people staying at the hotel playing really loud music inconsiderably during our stay. There were no staff around to tell them to please turn the music down so therefore this was not a relaxing experience. There is also no pool bar or anything to provide cold drinks or icecream/snacks. One day the cleaner left our patio door open without our knowledge. Luckily nothing was stolen!

Fab little hotel, quiet, very friendly and helpful staff and well priced. A 15 min walk to Burriana Beach or 25 mins to Nerja centre. Really relaxing break. Would recommend.

Dissappointing
We arrived back after the reception was closed, to find there was no blanket, on the bed or in the wardrobe. After a freezing night, i was told we only provide blankets in winter (this was 1st November), i was told that i should asked for a blanket. I said haven't you seen how people are dressing? They already thinks its winter. I was told that the reason there were no blankets in the wardrobe, was because of Covid. Other hotels we gave stayed in have blankets. This was supposed to be a regular booking, as we visit friends in the area on a regular basis. I informed the lady on reception, that as far as i could see the customer is NEVER right because there customer service was non existant! I was supposed to revisit the following week. I asked for ny money back. In my opinion if i had been in the wrong, this would not have happened.

Fun week with friends
I was with a group of 19 friends on a bowling visit. This hotel was ideally situated for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when Spain had its lock down. The hotel has a lot of character, the food in the restaurant was excellent. The breakfasts were simple but there was sufficient variety. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and we would be happy to stay there again.

Nice pool area. Snack options limited. Breakfast ok for continental but poor hot food choices (food not hot). Staff very helpful. Restaurant only open in evening. Nice rooms. Shower in bathroom poor needed upgrading. As a guest not automatically asked at time of booking if you wanted to have dinner on New Year's Eve. When we arrived on 27 Dec there was no availability.

We picked this hotel as it was close to family living near by. It was clean , basic room but was the cheapest. Breakfast something for everyone. Tried the restaurant attached was good. We saw the pool area which was lovely sea view. Only thing for us was no English Channel on t v in room. But English on the one down stairs , in seating area .

Best 3 star hotel room I’ve come across
Stayed 2 nights in a double room on the ground floor. Looked newly refurbished and was spotlessly clean. Superb layout and sleek room. Modern, fresh and comfortable. Large bathtub in the corner of the room. Separate bathroom with huge rainfall shower. Only negatives were the common areas looking tired and old-fashioned compared to the great room. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. Was charged for coffee pods for the room which had a coffee machine in it. receptionist was incredibly helpful and kind.

There is no view at all at this hotel
This hotel does not have a view of the ocean - partial/ Mountain View - or whatever they want to call it. All you see is construction. And construction is active: bulldozers running, men shouting, saws going. None of this was communicated to us by the hotel and our reservation was for an ocean view room. The hotel does not and will not have an ocean view or anything like a view by the nature of their location and the new hotel being built right in front of them. Secondly, the way the owner handled the situation was very rude. The front desk stalled me all morning. I had to go down to them three times. With my third attempt at 11:20 am, the owner tells me that he has no rooms that match what I paid to move us to, and will not release my reservation for the following night, after I had expressed to him that I would like to just go to a different hotel since I can’t even sit out on my patio to enjoy a coffee, because of the construction noise (no changing rooms since all rooms face the same “view”). We were absolutely stuck in a place we did not want to be on our vacation! I felt that we were not given a choice in the matter at all because the hotel lied on this website about their views and then did not communicate that construction is going on. The owner seemed appalled by my disappointment and frustration. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
