Tamisa Hotel , Mijas GolfPosted Aug 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Friendly staff offering good service and personal hands on involvement of management. a stunning location with a great terrace restaurant located on frontline golf. Spa seemed well equipped and the indoor pool perfect for winter visits.Perfect location for golfers or someone wanting a relaxing , wind down stay.

pleasant stayPosted Mar 23, 2013
Pros: Good views and relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Went to sit on the balcony and there was no handle on the outside, was worried that i got locked out
Generally enjoyable stay. Only slight niggle is that there was noy tea/coffee making facilities in the room.Needs some sort of antislip mat for bottom of the bath. Really clean and comfortable

Such a disappointmentPosted Feb 21, 2011
Hotel overlooking the golf course, but felt in need of an update all round. Carpet tiles in room and halls made the rooms look grubby. Decor felt cica 1990. Compared with the other reviews I felt as if I had walked into the wrong hotel. Food very disappointing, had booked the free lunch, free dinner half board deal, but this turned out to be only dinner. The dinner being a set choice of 3, but with a fixed menu for 7 days. I only could eat 1 of the mains resulting in a repeat of the meal for any subsequent nights. Breakfast was very poor, the weakest of any hotel I have stayed in in this category. Hotel facilities not up to expectations, sauna and gym felt like cupboards off a corridor and indoor pool and jacuzzi barely warm so not tempted to use. The hotel is remote from anything else, a car is must have. Charge for Wifi seems excessive

Relaxing venuePosted Jul 3, 2010 on Hotels.com
This hotel is a short drive from Fuengirola but has enough amenities on site and nearby for a short break. El Golf restaurant nearby is fantastic. Lovely room overlooking golf course, party in bar one night lots of good music and quietened down about 10.30 so not too rowdy. Perfect location for golf holidays.

Can be noisyPosted Oct 1, 2009 on Hotels.com
Nice hotel, not very big, but good setting. It's a popular venue for weddings and functions which means it can be noisy at night for a while.
