Spot on as a base for short tripPosted Jul 8, 2014
No complaints at all, we just wanted a base from which to explore from so was perfect for that. It's just off a main road heading north out of city centre and only a 15 minute or so walk down into the main area, which is a good way to try out some of the bars, restaurants and cafés aimed more at the locals. That said, it's only about €5 in a taxi (which reception can order) to the main plaza de la Merced, or there are regular buses on the main road. Room was cleaned each day and a reasonably priced minibar and safe in the wardrobe. Would have no hesitation staying there again and so would certainly recommend.

Nice hotel close by foot to all Malaga amenitiesPosted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: All together a nice hospitality experience
Cons: The possibility to take a meal in the room
Location: Close to all major Malaga amenities: museums; beach; restaurants and shopping
Staff very polite, courteous and helpful. Hotel rooms very comfortable, clean and safe. Restaurant: very nice although cheap breakfast but a little pricy for dinners.

Near the AirportPosted Nov 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for one night in November after travelling around Almeria. We chose this hotel as it was good value for money and close to the airport. The hotel was of a good standard. breakfast was served buffet-style and was extremely good for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful. It cost € 25.00 for a taxi to Malaga airport and took about 15 minutes. Would recommend. There was a short walk into the main centre of Malaga.

High standards, not too far from central Malaga.Posted Oct 23, 2013
The hotel is very clean, has good wifi in rooms and the service is good. Front desk open 24hours and only a short walk into central Malaga means you are close to the action without being in it. There is a great wine bar around the corner and lots of shops nearby. My only reservation is that the hotel will change prices on you from night to night ~ we booked at a good rate and this was doubled the next, with no notice, so plan your stay ahead of time if you want to make the most of good deals available.

Comfortable Hotel close to city centrePosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: As already mentioned, the excellent Reception welcome and advice also the very comfortable room and bed.
Cons: Nothing that we could see and we are seasoned travellers.
Location: We arrived at night and left next morning so only saw the immediate area but had a very good meal locally at a very good price.
Normally we would stay in a more central hotel but this time decided to try somewhere a little further out which required a taxi but this was not too expensive and only about 5-8 minutes from El Corte Ingles department store in the city centre. The area struck us as being a non-tourist area. On arrival the Hotel Reception were extremely helpful in advising on nearby restaurant facilities and the room was very comfortable and relaxing. The bed was a decent sized double bed (not one of the small doubles you often get in Spain!) and we got a great night's rest. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
