Nice hotel, near a shingle, rather gritty beach.

Pros: Compact apartment suited us, large folding bed in lounge suited our adult son. Plenty of sun beds some on grass and by swim pool.
Cons: Food mostly was excellent but actual potatoes would be nice. Implementation of dress code for meals would suit 4 star hotel
Location: Hotel a bit isolated, some lovely beach fish restaurants nearby. Not many beach activities. Hotel try to organise activities.
We arrived in the early hours, very tired, because of the air traffic controllers strike, and were pleased to find a supper was left for us, and facilities to make a welcome hot drink. We enjoyed most of the meals, and soups were delicious. The bathroom is accessed through the main bedroom - not the best idea for some. We had half board, though all inclusive suited some. It's a four star hotel, and just about deserves it. The hotel is a fair walk to the main centre, and the shingle makes it difficult to walk along the beach, but a blue bus along the coast costs one euro, wherever you get off, and taxis are fairly cheap, cafes will call one for you.

Location: Lovely town of Nerja
You can see why they have sunbeds on edge of beach ( Very rough, shale and pebbles This is why I think they should have more comfortable sunbeds. OML they were sooooooooo uncomfortable. No pads, broken ,bird poo on them and most dipped in middle due to wear. I stay in lots of 4 star hotels and I am afraid this is more like a 3 star. No porters to take your cases, food basic, entertainment average. Recommend as a 3 star.

Lovely 4 star hotel

Just back from a 5 night girly break with a friend. Lovely hotel, adjacent to a beach which was shaley (take water shoes) but this should not detract from the location. Our room had a side view of the Med, overlooking the tennis courts & gardens. If I went again, I would ask for a pool view as these looked like better views overall. We had an all inclusive package that was more than adequate for drinks & food. The breakfast buffet was enormous & had everything you would want & expect from a 4 star hotel. Staff were very attentive & made sure plates were cleared appropriately & were welcoming. The reception staff were efficient though could have smiled more! Room was spacious, with a dinette kitchen as well as lounge area so if self catering or b&b, this would be ideal. Grounds were well cared for & hotel was approx a 20 minute walk away from Nerja, so it was quiet after midnight when the bars closed. Bus stop into town right outside the hotel & cost €1.50. Taxi back from town ranged from €7.50-9.00 depending which part of town you were in. Frigiliana is a must visit, approx 10 min drive up into the mountain, with breathtaking views of the surrounding area & Med. We hired s small car for one day, from hotel reception which cost €40 plus €7 insurance for a fiat panda. We looked around the Spa which looked nice & the gym is quite small but functional if u like to do that sort of thing on holiday! All in all, a super stay & would definitely go again in the future.

Close to beach, mediocre accommodations.

Bad computer, internet and wifi connection. Staff helpful, food plentiful but catering to European flavor and lacking local preferences. First floor room noisy over nightly entertainment area, but accommodations sufficient otherwise. Fantastic beach and area amenities.

Pros: Apartment, Strandbereich, Frühstück.
Cons: Bar ohne Musikanimation!
Location: Ca. 3 km außerhalb Nerva, netter kleiner Ort an der Costa del Sol, ca. 50 km nördlich von Malaga.
"Hotelbunker" mit wenig spanische Flair direkt am Meer, allerdings sehr angenehmes Ambiente (bis auf die Bar) mit schönem Pool- und Strandbereich. Sehr großzügige und gut eingerichtete Apartments, gute Organisation und guter Service. Nur Frühstück gebucht, dieses aber excellent, es blieben keine Wünsche übrig, auch hier gute Organisation. Als Individualtourist würde ich dieses Hotel zur Hauptreisezeit nicht buchen, im Mai sehr empfehlenswert, bei All-Inklusive kommt man aber wahrscheinlich auf seine Kosten!

Nice hotel room for improvement.

Pros: The hotel has nice grounds with the Med lapping onto the beach at the back of the hotel. The swimming pool is clean and pleasant to swim in.
Cons: I feel there should be more information on local events such as markets etc at the entrance so that it is visible .
Location: Nerja is a lovely town with some lovely places to eat. Market day is Tuesday and is worth a visit. Balcon d'Europe is well worth going to.
Although it is a nice clean hotel with a lovely pool and reasonable food we felt that the front of house ie reception staff and information giving were poor and impersonal. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful as were the cleaning staff. There was a festival day on in Nerja whilst we were there and there was no information to be found at the hotel or any indication that it was going on. Our room was nice and they did their best to give us the room we asked for but the rooms could do with some updating. The cleaners do an excellent job and we cannot fault them. We found it to be fairly noisy around the pool area on occasions with large family groups making a great deal of noise nobody seemed to ask them to be a little quieter . We feel people should enjoy themselves on holiday but with some consideration to others.

Excellent Hotel

Very polite staff. Food was varied, and better than any other all inclusive holidays I have been on. Clean spacious rooms. good pool area with a lawned area that bordered the beach. Sunbeds were setup on the lawn as well as the pool area. I will be going back to this hotel in the future.

Hotell ved stranden et godt stykke utenfor sentrum

Pros: Basseng og nærhet til stranden.
Cons: Personalet i resepsjonen.
Location: En kan ta buss eller taxi til Nerja. Det tok ca 30 minutter å gå inn til sentrum.
Fin 2 romsleilighet med separat stort soverom. Gode senger. Veldig lytt fra stuen til naboleilighet. Varierende kvalitet og utvalg på buffet i spisesalen. Opplevde ubehag ifm utsjekk. Vi drar ikke tilbake dit.
