Cons: needs full refurbishment
Close to town about 15 minute walk. Unimpressive entrance.Furniture needs updating. The hotel is looking old need a refurbishment. Very good size rooms.Sea views good but not impressive , looks onto docks. No iron or kettle. Bathroom good and updated.

ConvenientPosted Mar 29, 2015
Cons: Larger cafeteria menu
Location: Two large shopping malls and Corte Ingles Close to railway station 25 minute walk to old town and marina
We read the reviews before we chose this hotel so there were no surprises (we knew to ask for a kettle). The hotel was close to the railway station which is only 8 minutes from the airport and cost 1.80 Euros. It is a 20 to 25 minute walk to the old town and the marina. There are two large shopping malls within 5 minutes of the hotel along with a massive Corte Ingles. The outlook is not pretty but we knew that before we went and we also booked a room above the 4th floor in order to lessen the road noise. The swimming pool and sauna were a bonus. Breakfast was excellent. The cafeteria menu is limited but perfectly adequate. The staff were brilliant. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would return.

Nice hotel near Malaga station with sea viewsPosted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Convenience for station and airport
Cons: Liked the pool area but steam room was not working most of time I was there and is only switched on in the mornings/early evenings anyway.
Location: Hotel is very convenient for Malaga renfe station - with easy connections and eating/shopping facilities.
Stayed at the Monte Malaga hotel in late March in one of their junior suite rooms. These are on the top floor and have large balconies with sun loungers - most also have sea views. Hotel is very convenient for Malaga renfe station - with easy connections to the airport and the rest of Spain and which also has eating areas/shops and even a cinema. Hotel has a spa area with a small gym (limited equipment however) and a steam room/sauna and pool with jacuzzi area.

+parking disponible mais payant, acceuil bien, service correct, pas de très belle vue - le réceptionniste barbu pour le check fait le policier et agressif, excès de zèle, il doit pas travaille dans un hôtel de touriste dans ce cas !

Nice hotel a little way from the centre.Posted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: I found the hotel ,although busy over the new year period, was quiet.
Cons: Breakfast cost 12 Euros which I think is too much, but there are a few cafes nearby especially a nice one in the shopping area of the train station.
Location: The train station is nearby and is useful for getting cheaply to the airport. Also I did a pleasant walk away from the town along the coast.
I spent 5 nights here just after Christmas. The hotel is approx a 15-20 walk from the old town, but this wasn't a problem for me as I enjoy walking, and the weather was beautiful despite it being winter. The room was large, and at the side of the hotel so I had a sea view. I have to say a balcony would've been nice. The bathroom was also large with two hand-basins and a bath with shower.

Super godt. Søde mennesker på hotelet. Dejligt hotel, skøn mad i deres cantina og billigt...lækker morgenmad.
