Pros: location was great, staff were incredibly helpful and the room was lovely. Loved our terrace
Location: perfectly located for all amenities, bars and beach in old town Marbella. A beautiful town, easy access to airport / other local areas by bus.
We had a fantastic time here. From the moment we arrived the owners Doris and Juan were on hand, helpful and able to provide useful info about shops, restaurants and transport. They arranged our taxi to the bus station for the return journey and provided us with airport transfer info and times in advance. The room was lovely - clean, with everything we needed including a small but perfectly formed bathroom, a fridge, crockery and cutlery (even though we hadn't specifically booked a room with kitchen - this was extremely useful). The terrace was a sun trap - perfect for sitting to eat breakfast or having a drink before heading out to explore the town in the late afternoon. We even had free wifi - which proved very useful. The combination of small boutique guest house and idyllic town gave us the perfect relaxing break we were looking for.

Geaqr location on Marbella Old TownPosted Nov 1, 2012
Location in old town was great and room was adequate. Frank was very helpful and very friendly. Doris and he husband were great hosts! A real treat from modern sterile accommodations. We had the top floor with a sitting room and a small deck which worked out well. A barkling dog next door was dealt with in a timely manner as was very annoying until resolved. Get directions as not on GPS!

Beautiful accommodation in best part of MarbellaPosted Oct 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
I chose this accommodation as I was on a budget. I normally only stay at 4 or 5 star hotels. I was absolutely made up with everything about this gorgeous place. Perfect location right in the beautiful old town, fabulous bedroom and a large roof terrace. Doris and Juan were lovely and very helpful and friendly. The place is spotless. I think this place is only 2 star due to having no restaurant or pool. But there are so many lovely cheap places to eat nearby that it didn't matter at all. I have just booked to stay here again. It definately beats the high rise hotels/apartments and being right in the old town is the best area to stay with all the restaurants, bars and pretty boutiques. Can't wait to return!

Friendly hotelPosted Oct 5, 2012
This hotel is lovely for a traditionally Spanish experience. Doris, her husband and Frank made us welcome and they are very friendly. The hotel is perfectly situated for everything, particularly the beautiful old town.

Cheap and cheerfulPosted Jul 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
The room was a little outdated, but maybe that was part of the charm. Hotel owners were really lovely. Great location in the Old town - so close to walk to everything. Would recommend if you're looking for a cheap and cheerful place to stay.

So much more than a 2 star experience.Posted Jul 12, 2012
This lovely little apartment/hotel doesn't disappoint. It is situated in the heart of old town Marbella but remains away from the noise of the night life. Doris and Jose are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. We will return for sure. Just to add that the 2 star rating is purely based on the lack of facilities in terms of pool etc., but the whole experience was a 5 star rating.

Marvelous MarbellaPosted Jul 2, 2011
Jose and Doris welcomed us into their home, a traditional Spanish house and we friendly attentive and great company. We enjoyed our short stay in the old town, within easy reach of the sea. If you are looking for a Spanish experience rather then you'll find it here
