2ND visit this yearPosted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: Relaxing, great value.
Cons: Beds are too hard for my liking
Having stayed here in June we returned in October for another weekweek. Reception staff are lovely and recognised us from our previous stay. Location is great and we just hop on the train from the airport to reach the hotel. Food is great and plentiful, even for vegetarians! Beach is across the street, but plenty of sunbeds at the hotel around the pool. Dori is lovely and works hard to involve you in the daytime activities. Will definitely stay again.

Hotle is very close to the beach.Posted Oct 20, 2013
We stayed at this Hotle for a friends 40th. The Hotle was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The down side for me was that the Hotle was more for couple and the older side of life as I'm 23 years old and the average age was 60+. However if you was taking you wife or husband for a quiet week that this Hotle is perfect for you.

Pros: Its located near the beach.
Cons: Renew some of the equipment, its starting to age a bit.
Location: The hotel is located opposite the beach, you can hire a bed plus a fixed umbrella for 3 euros each.
We have stayed in this hotel several times and it has always been an enjoyable place to stay with good services and good food. I have noticed a deterioration in the food selection and it now seems very repetitive, great if you like grilled fish, but not if you don't. There used to be bigger selections and variety at meal times, this has now reduced. You can still eat 5 courses in the evening if you so wished, don't get me wrong, its still good, but just not as good as it was. The sun beds are starting to sag a little and can be difficult to get out of if you are elderly. The all inclusive is what it says, the bar is fully stocked and they are not short when giving out measures. It used to be a friendlier place in previous years but some of the staff have either left of moved on and its not quite the same. There is an entertainment programme in place, day time its games which are fun and in the evening its ok if you stay for a week but if you are there for 2 weeks, you will see the same shows etc the following week. The entertainment team do work quite hard though. The air conditioning is pretty poor, our room was hot all the time and although reported to reception, nothing improved. I also reported a spring was sticking through from my matress, I reported it at 09:00, it was still the same at 18:00 so I reported it again, I was told they would attend to it either that evening or perhaps the next day. I complained and asked whre was I supposed to sleep that night?

Relaxing timePosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: The food is good and a great place to just chill out and relax
Cons: The nightly entertainment is rather dated
Chilling in the sun, beer on tap and good variety of food , if this is what your looking for you can't go wrong with this holiday .

A relaxing stayPosted Aug 19, 2013
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: Close to beach, 15 to 20 minutes' walk to train station.
Diogo, the sub-director is very helpful and friendly. He makes sure your questions are well answered. He demonstrates a high degree of professionalism. The hotel is a bit outdated. The air conditioning in the hotel, especially in the guest rooms does not work properly which makes the stay not too comfortable in a hot summer day. Bar service is good, food is of good standard but more variety will be better especially after a few days there. Overall, a pleasing experience.

OK, but wouldnt say its a 4 star hotel..Posted Aug 5, 2013
Cons: Crammed full of Boozing Brits - not the relaxing 4 star hotel we'd hope for..
Location: Right on the beach, close to airport - €17-20 in a taxi. If you like good bars/clubs i would advise going further up torremolinos towards the port
Hotel is clean & tidy enough Hotel was absolutely packed during July - couldn't get a sun bed and people where like vultures over them - if you were fortunate enough to get one, you had to stay on it otherwise someone would be straight onto trying to Claim your lounger - even if all your possesions and towels are still on it while your in the pool. Food was not great - certainly not 4 star - we were all inclusive and could only stick it for the first 5 days - no variation, same buffet every day in both restaurants. The last few days we'd had enough and just went out for dinner to some local restaurants. Think this hotel should be more a 3 star / not a 4 star..

2 star accommodation with 1 star foodPosted Jul 12, 2013
Pros: Location and aqua-aerobics sessions at lunchtime
Location: Next to beach at quiet end of town and 10 minute walk to train station.
Had nice room overlooking pool and out to sea but ceiling fan didn't work and no extractor in bathroom. Also no fridge in room just an unstocked, not very cold minibar. Felt like self-catering holiday camp with a canteen as there was no element of service with staff only clearing tables even if you go to the alleged 'restaurant' which is just a slightly different selection of food in a section beside the pool. Food really disappointing and poorly labelled if at all. Everything tasted the same and was VERY salty. It felt and tasted like school dinners and even had sittings for the evening meal. There was also a disappointing selection of snacks with no ice cream just some stale cake and leftovers from breakfast or lunch. Be warned if you want a sunbed you have to be up early as most of the ones around the pool were staked out by 8am at the latest which pool guard did nothing to discourage inspite of the hotel saying this was against policy. Overall it didn't feel like staying in a hotel and we never felt valued as a customer - we were handed a leaflet when we arrived which did not explain everything and didn't even get 'have a nice trip home' on leaving with the receptionist just taking the room key ! Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel - must try harder !

Superb ServicePosted Jul 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
From the minute we arrived we were impressed. The level of service here was excellent as was the food. The hotel has a laid back atmosphere and had a good mix of all ages when we stayed in July. The food was excellent with plenty of choice and the bar was well stocked and the service there was also very good and fast.
