Very pleasant hotel on the edge of Mijas villagePosted Nov 27, 2013
Cons: The beds!!
Very pleasant hotel with good pool and tennis court and sunny terraces;just few minutes walk into Mijas village;lovely seaviews; rooms perfectly pleasant but our stay was somewhat spoiled by the beds being quite uncomfortable due to have old and cheap sprung mattresses which creaked, which was surprising in an otherwise rather charming hotel.

Good Hotel - Well situated in Mijas, a hill townPosted Nov 25, 2013
Stayed here twice - at the start and end of a short fly / drive break to Andalucia visiting Malaga (20 miles away), Granada (mainly for the Alhambra) and Ronda (for the fantastic scenery). The TRH Mijas Hotel was very good value (with a good breakfast included in the room rate). Recommend the spa experience (exclusive use for two people for one hour including candles, jacuzzi, steam room, plunge pool and drinks).

Nice traditional Andaluscian hotelPosted Nov 4, 2013
Lovely trip, second visit to TRH Mijas in last 3 years. Lovely traditional hotel with fantastic views in a fabulous village. It is a very quiet hotel with no entertainment but the bar is very large and the food lovely.

Location, Location, Location ...Posted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: Location very andalucian in style, very clean
Cons: The towels provided in the bathroom were a disgrace and let the hotel down
Location: A great base from which to explore the Costa Del Sol and Mijas is just fabulous. Loved Foto Art beautiful photo's taken by Jaime J Moto
5 minute walk from the centre of Mijas Bus stops close by for Torremolinos, Fuenrigola and Benelmadena this hotel is beautifully clean particularly the pool and the public areas, The breakfast buffet although of good quality and plentiful..not very hot, but there is a microwave available. One small complaint for such a good standard of hotel the towels were very small, practically threadbare and need replacing.

Very nice hotel, good kind staff, and comfortablePosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: The welcome from the staff. Comfortable room and good food
Cons: As I previously stated, hotel was very good, but benefit from WIFI in rooms, plus free provided safe access and refrigerator. Otherwise, very happy.
Location: Excellent coast beaches, out of towns; visits to Ronda, Nerja and to Antequera, although I did not get there. Beautiful views and mountain roads.
I arrived at Hotel Mijas on 6 October for 4 nights stay. V good food, offered as buffet at breakfast and dinner. Also, very good variety of food, slightly different each night. Comfortable room on inside courtyard; but, over wall, could see the sea, Would have been helpful to have WIFI in room also room safe and refrigerator at no extra charge. Staff very helpful, especially at Reception. I hired car for 2 days through Reception; it worked out really fine,

beautiful town,good hotel,fairly quietPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: plenty space around pool and on terraces.more comfortable loungers would be an improvement.
Cons: more comfortable loungers, better drinks at breakfast, better standard of cleaning and friendlier staff, just the odd nod would've been nice.
Rooms were comfortable, but the balcony promised was extremely disappointing, not even Juliette would have been happy with this. Good selection at breakfast but fresh coffee and juice would be welcome. Staff were pleasant but somewhat reluctant to engage via smile or eye contact. Limited service at poolside bar and bathroom, particularly bath were not cleaned to a high standard. Mijas itself however outshone these minor complaints.

Good locationPosted Sep 27, 2013
Cons: Smile want go a miss
Had to pay to park in hotel car park. Parking should be free. If I wanted a safe had to pay for. All this should be free, no need to pay for it , it is just standard things you expect at a hotel. Our room was a bit tired.

Great relaxing time, with a great atmospherePosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: The pool area is fantastic with plenty of sunbeds, the view and the bar are extremely pleasing. Also the breakfast is hugeeeee!! Great service.
Cons: The rooms are a little outdated, and there seemed to be an extra charge for lots of little things like a fridge or laundry or using the safe.
Location: Mijas is wonderful. A beautiful little village that never dissapoints. Great restaurants and views and extremely relaxing. This is my 8th time there!
Went away for an 8 day holiday in Mijas and stayed at this lovely hotel. I have been to Mijas before but never stayed in the hotel so this was a first for me and I was quite excited. I found my overall stay really pleasent although the hotel is very pricey with drink, food etc. I would advise that if you want a drink or some snacks, there is a little eroski supermarket around the corner that sells food and drink very very cheaply. The bar prices were very very expensive. 6.50 euros for half jug of sangria which is basically 2 glasses. Go to the supermarket you can get the same sangria in a huge bottle for 1.25 euros. The rooms are outdated and definately need improving. It's a 4 start hotel but the rooms were more of a 2-3 star standard, although the cleaners were brilliant and you did get a lovely balcony or patio area to relax. Luckily we didn't spend an awful lot of time in our room anyways. The staff are amazing and polite and very helpful. We didnt fly back till 23.45pm and they let us keep our bags safe and secure in reception from check out (12.00pm) until we left for the airport at 8.00pm. This was such a weight of our shoulders as we didnt want to be trundleing bags around mijas which is very hilly! I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone although next time, I will get a villa. I just prefer the privacy and I think it is better value for money if your going on holiday with more than 2-3 of you. Great hotel though.

Pros: I like the swmimming pool , the location was. you can get a bus to go to any of the other towns . 1.55 Euro who could complain. You don't need a car.
Cons: family can bond together and enjoy each other company (loads of Talking and fun ) Very private as well , good also for businesss people , very private
Location: The donkey and horse ride round the village , the lovely church . the village has a very nice setting, shops, restaurant and bars , if you drink.
I had a lovely time the swimming pool was clean everyone was friendly, the staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the dinner was always on time and the staff was very efficient .The tables was cleared immediately after someone had eaten. The room was cleaned everyday and smelt beautifully.
