Easy to find at rear of distinctive shopping centre. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean and modern throughout, good wifi, good shower, very quiet room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast available, terrace area very nicely done. Very convenient for main train station, walking distance to bars, restaurants,etc. Slightly longer walk to older part of city. Very enjoyable stay.

Excellent friendly and efficient staff. Super breakfast. Close to good bus service for the city. Building works were proceeding at the reception area and the staff were doing their best to cope. Very nice room ; bed and bath / shower all very good. although a "walk in" shower would be a good addition esp. for the older guests like us ! All said, a very good hotel for visiting Malaga.

The hotel lies between the main train station and the city centre at the back of one of the city's main shopping centres. The room was really spacious which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast had plenty of choices. The hotel is currently being renovated so the entrance, ground and first floor areas look rather unattractive. We understand that the current hotel rates are lower due to the renovation works, so as they did not inconvenience us at all, we are very satisfied with our stay.

Good location, but we had a rather bad experience here. They placed us and our 1year old daughter in a floor that was being refurbished and was half done, so the works were in progress, half the rooms open, and no hot water. They have rooms available on floors that were finished. Why ours was in the middle of a work site still baffles me. They also charged by mistake two full breakfasts for a 1 year old, which should have been free. They couldn't refund because the reservation was done online. I had also paid for a room for my mum. The second day, they chased me during the breakfast saying we had to pay for my mum's breakfast. Which was a mistake on their part and was paid. But even if it wasn't, you don't chase someone around the breakfast room, in front of other guests, accusing them of not paying. 5 times. With redirecting them to reception is enough. The fifth time I just had to, not nicely anymore, they could discount the damned breakfast from one of the two extra ones they charged for my daughter. I thought a Meliá stranded for better. A pity because the rooms were nice.

Great location near the bus and railway stations and beside the Larios shopping centre. Very quiet, newly refurbished rooms and an excellent breakfast. I always stay here when in Málaga.

Some good, some hard to ignore bad.
The hotel is clean and well located, staff are really friendly and helpful. The double room we had was fine, decent size with a small sofa / table area. However, this is the first hotel I’ve ever been in that doesn’t supply drinking water in the room daily, you have to buy it in the foyer. The breakfast, while it looks ok at a glance, is pretty awful. The coffee the the machine produces was undrinkable and made me feel ill, the scrambled eggs were made from a cheap powder mix, and the selection of hot food was incredibly limited. We were there 6 nights and every day was - small sausage, thin bacon, fried egg, powdered scrambled eggs. Then there’s the usual sliced fruit / pastries which were fine. The “natural” Orange juice was also concentrate, really disappointing for the price to be honest.

Been to this hotel 3 times and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean, quit comfortable and spacious. My only comment would be that having a kettle in the room would come in handy to families travelling with babies or small children as we had to keep going to the restaurant to fill our thermos with boiling water so we could take our sons food with us everyday.

Id give this one a miss
Sadly this is NOT a 4 star or anything like, the photos do NOT reflect what you get, the gym is tiny and in an old room with 3 pieces of equipment, one of the reasons i booked this particular hotel. Breakfast is ok but nothing like displayed on the photos, staff were friendly and the ladies on reception were excellent, not so much the gentleman who seemed to have little interest. The hotel is placed near the train and bus station but a long walk from the beach. Rooms were adequate but very tired, i actually left 2 days early as i was extremely disappointed with facilities, no tea making facility only a coffee vending machine in reception, not whar i expected for £1000 a week, i doubt Melia have inspected this place in 10 years so would completely diregard the Melia affiliation. This is travelodge standard, certainly now what was advertised, i would suggest Hotels.com take the rating to 2 star

We came in super late, like 3am, but the young lady at the front desk was very friendly and polite. She let us sign up for the late check out. The bunk beds for the kids were appreciated. The curtains were very nice and kept the room dark. The room was quiet and we couldnt hear the people around us nor the traffic outside.

Friendly staff that are so polite. Spacious room. Lovely bathroom with concave mirror. Next to shopping mall wuth supermarket. Bus stops opposite the property headed to the beach. Taxi rank within 200m of the property. Great view of the town from the window. Fridge, safe wardrobe, iron, ironing board and hair dryer all avaialble in the room.

Much better than expected. Very comfortable room. Could have used a coffee machine in the room. Also, both in the evening and morning there was only one, hardworking front desk clerk. Inexcusable management doesn’t have two.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was a help yourself buffet with a wide selection of cold selections and a few cooked options, facilities were good. The only thing that maybe let’s it down was that the exterior and location was not the prettiest but it was perfect for what I needed.

Good grief if you want coffee you have to go to the lobby and buy it from a machine! And carry those hot little cups to your room! Repeat for another cup. For a nice hotel with big rooms and all that, this was very bad. Also, 2 phone calls (Spanish number) we’re almost 8 euros. Another annoyance. Location....somewhat confusing for walking to the main area. Not bad. The room was large, comfortable and also quiet.
