1 night in MalagaPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Was very clean and staff were friendly
Cons: Was very good for a short stay.
Location: Train and bus station were nearby as was a big shopping centre. The Old town was about 15-20 mins away.
The hotel was located next to the train and bus station so was good for an overnight stop. The room itself although clean and modern overlooked the car park of a shopping centre so early morning traffic was a problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful. About a 15-20 min walk to the Old Town. There were places to eat in the shopping centre but these seemed to be more chain restaurants rather than authentic Tapas bars. Great for a short stopover but not my idea of a holiday hotel.

A short holidayPosted Feb 14, 2014
Pros: The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good.
We stayed for four nights, and found it very useful that the hotel was close to the main railway station, the city centre and adjacent to a large shopping centre, with large supermarket.

A Few Steps from HistoryPosted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: Extraordinary helpful and courteous staff who went out of their way to contact Iberia to help locate my misdirected luggage.
Location: Shopping, tapas and touristy joys are within a stone's throw.
A short 10 minute walk to the old city. Clean, quiet and comfortable.

Cons: service across the board
Location: bus stop is near. central malaga and port are close by
the quality of service from staff was v dissapointing. our room was not cleant on a day and we had to ask for house keeping. the room was too warm and the thermostat could not be adjusted. the hotel is very well located and from a location perspective a great place. but the service was far from good

Great base for city breakPosted Dec 6, 2013
Pros: Good, clean, friendly reception.
Cons: If you go for the breakfast option (recommended) at busy times table clearing became a bit of an issue.
Location: Great location, being a short walk to both the bus & train stations. Hotel is also part of a shopping complex - fashion & food.
We have been frequent day visitors to Malaga, but we decided to stay for a few days to take in more of what the city has to offer. Most people arrive at the airport and 'turn right' to head down the coast to Torremolinos, Fuengirola, etc., etc., but miss the chance to savour some 'proper' Spanish city atmosphere. Far more visitor friendly than even ten years ago, you have a lot of culture, shopping & dining options, supported by an excellent, efficient & inexpensive public transport system. With beaches nearby, I think it compares favourably with more popular weekend destinations like Barcelona & Valencia, especially if you are on a tighter budget.

Good location, great staffPosted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Easy access to the city, knowledgeable staff who provided insight to neighborhood restaurants. Breakfast service was very good at the hotel. When we took an all-day tour to Gibraltar, we had to leave the hotel before the breakfast service began. The hotel provided two very nice box meals for us to take with us in lieu of breakfast. The adjacent shopping center was handy, but we found the neighborhood restaurants to be more comfortable for dinner. This hotel was a good choice for us.

Close to Train and Bus StationsPosted Oct 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was clean, modern and well situated near the train and bus stations. It is also located in Larios Centro which is a shopping mall which has a supermarket (very convenient) on the lower level. The room had a small refrigerator. It depended on who was working if the front desk staff was helpful or not. The night man always went above and beyond for us. The wifi did not work in the room and we had to go to the lobby to use it. They do offer day trips from a travel agency they work with for an extra fee. I booked mine in advance because I didn't know if the hotel offered them. I would recommend this hotel.

A little dissappointingPosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Decent distance from the centre, train station from the airport and ECI. Staff always helpful. Located above shopping centre which worked for us.
Cons: Other guests and staff respecting the fact others might be staying at the hotel for a rest and keeping the noise down!
Too noisy for a quite few days away, even if out of season so to speak. Soundproofing between rooms not great and cleaning staff clattered and chatted away from the early hours. Hotel facilities 'basic'. Room should have been cleaner - too much hair from previous occupant found in the bathroom. Room could do with a re-vamp but the bathroom needed more attention. It was ok. Fridge (as often is the case) didn't really cool very much. Towels, bed, tv, water pressure and size of room all good.
