Baros Maldives

So I believe Baros is one of all the many resorts that are available on the Maldives. Haven't yet been to others, but still was able to talk to a friend that was in another resort, I can say this place is really amazing. First of all, the staff will do as much as they can to make your stay perfect, yet they will not present when you dont need them, giving what other places that i've stayed lacks the most: privacy. You can be at your villa, and you will feel alone, yet if you want something they will rush and appear to do what you need. The island itself is really well preserved, and they do take a lot of care of it, perfectly clean. We stayed for 8 days, which could seem like a lot, but the timing was perfect. snorkeled everyday, with the snorkeling kit that was provided complimentary, there was not a single day that we didn't see mantas, or sharks (reef sharks, so no problem). The breakfast is really good, of course buffet style and there where so many options, healthy or unhealthy, so it was impossible to complain about. We had several times in-dining lunch and dinner, and it was nice that they didnt add up an extra cost for that (still, it was not cheap of course, but if you want cheap stay at a hostel!). The food was in all 3 restaurants really, really good! The gym was very handy, some free weight, lots of cardio, a smith machine and a cable machine, so you can keep up with your workout if needed. Internet was really fast and complimentary!

Overall our experience at Baros was superb. Our only criticism was that some of the male staff in the all day outdoor restaurant could improve their attitude and attentiveness to guests and the fins in the dive centre were uncomfortable resulting in blisters.

The island is private and quite. Service is excellent. Lighthouse restaurant serves great dinner.

Very nice accommodation. Brilliant lagoon and riff experience. Good meals. Gourmet restaurant Light House - really best choice for dinner. Same time - very small island - just 300 x 350 meters but intelligent planned. You will forget it in a couple days! The best option for snokering in compare with Seychelles, Mauritius or Bali! You can see full Underwater World under you! No matter 1 or 4 meters deep water - there is fantastic aquarium. You can meet some sharks in a few meters but not so big and dangerous as well.

We had an amazing time in Baros and cant recommend it highly enough. We were happy with our villa which was on the beach with direct access to the best snorkeling spot. We looked at the over the water bungalows but preferred the earthy surroundings of our villa better. I may have just overcome my fear of snorkeling with sharks just a little! It is quite daunting at first as in Australia the sharks are not quite so friendly. We look forward to visiting the Maldives again hopefully in the not too distant future.

The hotel was amazing! The staff were wonderful. We spent most of the time in our premier pool villa. It had a huge deck that was right on the water and it's own pool. The sunsets at the bar were wonderful and the food excellant.

What can I say? We stayed in baros for a night and everything is top notch especially the services. Would like to thanks Domi for extending our stay til 6pm despite their 12pm check out time due to our late flight. Will definitely come back again and strongly recommend to friends. Jimmi And Family

Excellent. Great staff - attentive, can-do attitude, courteous, genuinely pleasant. Very private.

It was a fantastic stay at the Baros. We enjoyed every minute of it and will recommend it to everyone !!
