Honeymoon in KureduPosted Feb 24, 2014
Stayed in Kuredu for our 6D/5N Maldivian honeymoon. It is a relatively older resort but very well maintained with up to date facilities. We got a Jacuzzi Beach Villa. The room is spacious and always clean. Our beach front is very nice and the waters are good for snorkeling. We got the package that comes with breakfast and dinner. The buffet has a lot of choices and is very filling so sometimes we can even skip lunch and just have early dinner. It was also very nice that the guests all try to make an effort to dress up a bit for supper. For the activities, we enjoyed the excursion to Manta Point via speedboat. The massage was a bit overpriced though but it was quite cool to be watching reef sharks beneath you while having your back kneaded. There is also a free 30 minute photoshoot and you get to take home a nice picture souvenir or upgrade to an album for posterity. Service all around the Island is superb! From the moment you arrive up until you leave. The staff are all well trained and very courteous. We plan to go back again for out 1st year anniversary!

Amazing island resort with great people!Posted Feb 5, 2014
Pros: Beautiful beaches, food, staff. Hassle free experience from the moment we landed in Male.
Cons: Maybe the internet could be faster but we were not there to surf the web,
Location: Snorkeling, diving, sitting by the pool, eating, night entertainment. Appreciate the themed dinners,
I can't say enough great things about our stay. We just got back and we had to write a review. We got the garden bungalow due to budget on an all inclusive package and had a great experience. The room was good for that level of accommodation and very comfy. The staff was friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Shiznee at the bonthi restaurant was awesome! The food was delicious and we were extremely well fed. It was also the perfect sized resort with a good amount of activities. It was nice to know they threw a repeaters party for all of their returning guest! We will definitely be repeaters and will upgrade to a beach bungalow with a view.

very beautiful resort but...Posted Jan 15, 2014
Pros: everything except biased attitude of the black sheep
Cons: staffs have to be trained to treat all guests equally
Location: very beautiful sunset at the sandbank
1) seaplane Male'->Kuredu : delayed by almost an hour but it was okay as we were able to rest in the lounge. There is free wifi in the lounge with intermittent loss of connectivity Kuredu->Male' : delayed by 2.5 hours.... 2) resort everything was great in this resort! a very beautiful resort which we fell in love as soon as we arrived but we realized that some of the staffs are not friendly to Asians..including our city host...but of course there are some nice staffs too 3) all inclusive we were served with very nice foods everyday but again...some of the waiters were not very friendly to us...we were chased by 2 waiters with very rude attitude when we wanted to switch to another dining table/ section within the restaurant...

One of the best resorts in Maldives..Posted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Everything :)
Cons: Food could be better I think ...
Location: Komandoo Island is very good for snorkeling.
Don't search any further, this is the place to go.We have just returned from Kuredu Resort and I am looking at my photos now.Just one word WOOW.If there is a paradise on earth, this is it.We stayed there for 5 days but wish could stay longer.Everyday we saw different wildlife, birds, reef sharks, stingrays, fish, crabs, turtles (just at knee deep) I woke up very early in the morning to walk around the island. The resort was full when we were there but sometimes you feel you are the only one on the island. The food and the service was very good.I recommend all inclusive so you can eat in all the restaurants on the island. My favourite is O Resort restaurant.and recommend taking the Komandoo Island snorkelling trip.It was fantastic.Special thanks to diving centre..

Felt so private and spaciousPosted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: Everything! Loved having the personal space, delicious meals, great service, massages. Loved relaxing in the private back area with jacuzzi!
Cons: Provide some type of CD in the room so guests could play music on the stereo system. Offer the dolphin encounter more than twice a week.
Location: Scuba diving, snorkeling, golfing, water sports such as catamaran and parasailing, massages, games room, library, etc.
Loved the private sitting area and jacuzzi in the back of the chalet. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Got a lot of mosquito bites! Food was magnificent! Loved the diving! Free sunset cruise and private photo session was a nice touch as well as free internet. Would go again tomorrow!

Perfect villa location right on the beachPosted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: The location, setting and layout are beautiful and the staff are exceptionally welcoming and helpful.
Cons: There is a taxi service using golf carts is a bit hit and miss. It should run to a regular schedule. Small activities such as pool should be free.
Location: Sailing, kite surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, golf, snorkelling, football, tennis, table tennis, pool tables all available but at extra cost.
We stayed in a Jacuzzi Beach Villa which was in a great location with the beautiful white sand beach right outside our front door. Overall the accommodation was nice and we really liked the open air shower and jacuzzi. Disappointing aspects of the accommodation were the noisy air conditioning condenser right outside the bedroom wall and its inability to maintain comfortable temperature at night. Also the ants seemed to like invading the bathroom every night. None of this spoiled our holiday experience though and we had a wonderful time. It is expensive, even when all inclusive as most activities including even a game of pool are charged as extras and if you want to enjoy activities such as diving (which is a must in the Maldives) then the costs soon rack up. All inclusive restaurants are excellent but cocktails and imported label drinks are charged as extras in the bars. If we go again we would probably opt for the O resort accommodation and all inclusive gold.
