“A Pleasure”
This was a wonderful visit for my wife and I. It is located somewhat close to the airport, so it doesn't feel as remote as some of the other islands, but the staff and amenities were fantastic.

“Kurumba Excellent Stay”
This resort is located only 10 minutes away from Male's Airport. From the time you are met at the Airport by the resort representatives until the time you are sent off to your trip back home, you will be treated always as a very welcomed guest. A very private but yet a friendly atmosphere will add to the enjoyment of your stay. We loved the place and especially the variety of restaurants as well as the site seeing programs arranged by Kurumba. All members of the resort were highly trained and handled our all requests in the most professional way. A very excellent package and was definitely worth every single dollar spent.

“Not a 5 star property”
My flight reached Male at 10:30AM and it wasn't until 12 noon that i reached Kurumba. My room was not ready until 2PM whereas I expected the room to be ready when I got to the island. The room itself was lovely and large - one of the two AC units wasn't working but it was cool enough with the one that was. I had signed up for the meal plan and that was a mistake - the food that was served was of very poor quality and the selection was very limited. Lunch was very bad and dinner was only slightly better. You don't have much of a choice as the only other alternative is to leave the island to eat on the main island of Male. Breakfast was the same was what is served at a three star hotel - I had requested the chef to make a couple of items for breakfast but that request was never communicated to the chef. In addition the whole island is fumigated every day and all the plants are doused with pesticide morning and evening - they must have a rampant pest problem that they are trying to bury under gallons of poison!! The pity of the whole thing is that Kurumba is a gorgeous place to visit - but the quality of the food and the level of service does not match the amounts that are charged. There are better choices in the Maldives and I would suggest that you stay elsewhere - for the amount I was charged, I expected much better.
“Awesome experience”
This was my first visit to Maldives and it was great...The resort was amazing....lovely location...just 10 mins away from the airport by speedboat....The rooms were very clean...the surrounding was very neat...just beautiful.......the staff was helpful and smiling.....overall a great experience.....would recommend it to others.....5 out of 5....

“Dubai resident”
Had a much needed time off and felt very refreshed by the time our 1 week was up . The resort was quieter than expected but this was due to many flight cancellations from Europe (due to snow blizzards) the best meals to be had were at the main restaurant, although we tried others they were unfortunately not value for money especially the Japanese. only downside is at our beach end they were building a bar beach hut , which will be a great new addition but unfortunately they were in a hurry to complete it for the new year which meant our tranquil mornings were getting noisier by the day! we finally decided to complain as we wanted to salvage our last day of our break and i must say the management spared no attempt to ensure we were taken care of ,they apologized and offered to relocate us to an alternative location at the beach , they stopped all ongoing work till early evening when most would head off to have their dinner ,they also offered us free dinner that evening and offered us a bottle of bubbly, but i think more than anything we appreciated the length they went to after our complain . we had great time snorkeling and especially had fun with the sunset fishing trip , the crew were great and friendly and one of the skippers offered us his catch, a big fish that we enjoyed the next day for dinner; barbecued and offered to us with salad,rice and fresh fruits for free. all in all a good break, but when ill go back id probably want to experience another resort
