Fun Filled ParadisePosted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: Lots of activities every day, awesome cocktails, very friendly staff.
Location: Snorkelling, Cruise, Diving, Jet Ski
Rooms - Spacious, ours had a couple of showers, one in the cubicle and other in the open. House keeping is super efficient, they clean the room twice a day mostly when you are out for breakfast and dinner. Restaurants : Kurumba spoils you with choice - Italian, Middle Eastern, Indian, Japanese, Sea Food, Far East..... these are not just cuisines but these are all different restaurants + a cafe and a buffet restaurant. As an Indian I can vouch that the Indian Restaurant - Mahal serves very authentic Indian curries and kababs. Breakfast is mostly repetitive but tastes good so no complains. Most outstanding feature in breakfast is variety of Tea - Jasmine, Masala, Moroccan Mint, Lemon, English Breakfast, Fruit & Flower, Green, Cylon, Earl Grey. They even have loose tea leaves and you can brew your own tea. (personally I hate tea bags)

Great hotel / will definitely returnPosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: the facilities are good. The rooms are clean and well appointed. the crystal clear waters and white beaches are great.
Cons: Food and drinks are fairly pricy if you have not opted for the all inclusive package
Location: This must be one of the best resorts in the Maldives for diving and snorkelling....the house reef is truly spectacular.
the 8 days spent on the island were great. The snorkelling is world class.

Excellent resort, wonderful house reefPosted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: The hotel was excellent with a wide choice of restaurants and excellent service.
Location: The resort is closer to Male than I remembered resulting in a short boat ride to get there but also a lot of boat traffic close to the island
We were lucky enough to get an excellent Superior room literally 10m from the waters edge. My wife and I enjoy snorkeling and diving and we found the house reef an excellent snorkeling experience, we saw sharks, turtles rays, moray eels and lots of the usual tropical fish along the drop off just 30m from the shore.

Perfect VacationPosted Jun 17, 2015
Location: I didn't do anything nearby because everything I wanted was at the resort.
Easy and quick transport from the airport, great room on the beach! Awesome food and drinks. Staff was so helpful in getting whatever you need. A perfect place to unplug and get away from everything and just enjoy.

Perfect all round holiday destinationPosted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Excellent value for money, ample activities on the island, accomodating staff and the friendly vibe on the island were the highlights.
We spent 7 nights at Kurumba and our stay from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. Staff 9 across the bar, front of house and housekeeping) were attentive, friendly and were always willing to go the extra mile to enhance our stay. Plenty of complimentary activities including a cocktail night with other guests and staff to cultivate a village atmosphere rather than being a standard resort. The Maldivian cooking class with Ibrahim was a highlight for us and it came with a lunch size serving of the recipes demonstrated.

Great four days at KurumbaPosted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: Variation of restaurants, access to airport. calm area for snorkelling and swimming. Good recreational activities
Cons: Nothing really
Location: Male is 15 minutes away if you wished to go into the big city ( we didn't)
Lovely island with protected lagoon by and outer reef ( bit ugly) but the corals and fish were very good and meant there was a an gentle and easy area for swimming for the more delicate swimmers and then the outer reef was close with the drop off too Good selection of restaurants and activities. Staff very helpful and friendly at all times. Some complimentary activities too. Easy access to airport, no extra flight.

Very nice resort close to the airportPosted May 27, 2015
Me and my husband just csme back from the Maldives yesterday.. It was absolutely beautiful.. We were told that it would rain in May but out of the 3 days we were there it disnt even rain once during the day.. We went for our honeymoon and were upgraded to beachfront deluxe bungalow which is one step from the beach! Amazing view with clear blue waters and white sandy beaches...nice and quite in May aswell.. I feel uts the best time to go as there will be easy availability of all the excursions including the complimentary ones.. I highly recommend the dolphin tour and jet ski with snorkelling... Being on jet skis in the middle of the indian ocean is wonderful! Everything is great and lovely about the resort from the food to the staff to room amenities.. However i must mention, if you are scared of lizards, maldives is not for you... As you will have lizards in the room and bathroom and kn abundance outside! Otherwise its heaven on earth

HoneymoonPosted May 22, 2015
I went to Kurumba for our honeymoon. Staff were helpful and really nice. I had the room with the pool and it was the best decision that i made. We were invited to a special dinner for 2 which was on the house. Would definitely consider going back again maybe for our anniversary :-)
