Great location...

Posted Mar 4, 2015 on Hotels
My wife and myself we enjoy one night at the Seaview Tavern. The room was quite big, clean and warm considering that outside was very windy. We had also dinner at the restaurant and the food was very nice and well prepared. In the morning we enjoy our breakfast and we had a lovely conversation with Michael (probably the owner)... We really had a great time at the Seaview Tavern and we like to recommend to anyone looking for a nice stay in a great location...

Mods & Rockers Night was a marvelous addition

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Michael and the staff
Cons: The weather
Location: Its Donegal, enjoy the view, the people and relax.
My wife and I booked at The Seaview Hotel for a short overnight stay, and it turned out that in the evening there was a Mods & Rockers night, which was a marvelous addition to our stay. This hotel is situated in a marvelous setting, the food is to die for and we cannot congratulate Michael and his staff enough for the great time we had and the personal touch offered. We look forward to returning in the very near future.

Great view and Host

Our stay at the Tavern was wonderful. Our host was great and took the time to give us great advice of things to see in the area and had great stories. The food was great and having the tavern right there made dining in wonderful.

Location, location, location

This was a clean, recently redecorated, and straightforward place to stay above a restaurant and attached pub. But the truly stunning aspect is the location. I will always remember my trip to Malin Head. If you like remote and desolate next to the sea, and any kind of weather, I can't recommend it enough. Be absolutely sure to see the innkeeper; we kept missing him and then he came to our car and gave us information that made our day excellent. I only wish we had more time with him. By the way, the food in the restaurant is outstanding.

The hosts went out of their way to make this a very enjoyable visit for me and my wife. The food was excellent at a very reasonable cost. If you want to see the Irish coast I can not think of a better place to stay.
