Perfect for families on a budgetPosted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Its location: couldn't have been better. It was also super clean and the staff were excellent.
Cons: The food at the bar: very basic and not well-cooked, though we only ate there once.
Location: One street behind the Pine Walk and thus 1 minute from the beach; surrounded by super bars and restuarants: it has the perfect location.
We booked this 3 weeks in advance of travelling, following reading the mixed reviews. However, all we wanted was a reasonably priced (for August) clean, perfectly located room to sleep and have breakfast in along with a pool and some entertainement for our young son. This is exactly what we got and we have no complaints!

The receptionists were always very friendly and helpful. Hotel was close to pine walk, marina, restaurants and shops. Woud use this hotel again.

Great location, needs renovation basic accomPosted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
A great place to stay. some rooms renovated not ours. Air con failed for 2 days after fault elsewhere attempts to fix lead to losing all top floor. Too hot to sleep wife and daughter spent night near pool & slept later on balcony on lilo. went to reception and asked for directors of mar hotel group spurred action air con men on site for 3 days. resetting each day and renewing some units. shame really could be fantastic place with money spent on it. . beach just over road though and restaurants along front as are pine walks good places very near Laroc & Coral and very good supermarket over road with bakery. choc au pans fantastic & still warm. Accom very basic but did the job With some TLC and no entertainment would be great. New sofa been required as creak may be better for little kids

Holiday HotelPosted Jul 29, 2013
Good location, friendly staff and clean. However a bit worn could do with bathrooms being re-fitted and the rooms updated. But overall good value for money.

Simple but effective!Posted May 11, 2009 on Hotels.com
Apartamentos Oro Playa does what it says on the tin. It isn't fancy, but it also isn't expensive. Think Premier Inn with a great pool and bar and realise you can't argue with that for the price. The rooms and facilities are clean, it is a short walk to the beach and has a fully stocked supermarket for fresh morning bread and all the other usual requirements. The staff were also very friendly and provided excellent service when required. We only consider a hotel a place to sleep whenever we go to Majorca anyway, as there are so many fantastic beaches to see beyond the hotel pool. We will definitely use this hotel again.
