Great apartment and hotelPosted Apr 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is perfect for those wanting an apartment close to the centre of Palma, and the hill climb is good exercise The pool and pool area are clean and modern although it was a little too cool to use in March. Still great to eat your breakfast outside in the sunshine surrounded by lush greenery, a pool, a view over Palma below and the castle above.

Good HotelPosted Apr 3, 2013
Pros: staff and breakfast
Location: up on the hill, if you get good room, you wills see scenery of the port. beautiful. far from town far from beach
We arrived on Friday morning and get a taxi cost about 23 euros from the airport and we managed to get in the room right away. It is quite far from the town 20-30 minutes walk and 5-10 minutes walk to the bus stop to town. It is not near the beach too. For me it is more convenient to get a room somewhere in the town or nearer to town if you are planning for night out. There is mall near the hotel, and some restaurants. Staff are really nice and warm they give good directions and suggestions. The hotel breakfast is really good. Even planning to have dinner in the hotel is considered quite cheap. There is kitchen in the room too if you planning to cook. The swimming pool is nice too

Comfortable StayPosted Jul 21, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was very comfortable. My only gripe was that my room was very tired-looking and the carpets were worn down quite a lot, but it was clean. However, the balconey overlooking the pool was great and I did see that other rooms were not as shabby. The room itself was big and comfortable, and the bathroom was decent sized. The pool area is great, and very relaxed and the pool-side massage service was ace. The hotel is quite close to a big supermarket and shopping centre, and there are some restaurants about though none of particular note. It is an easy bus-ride into Palma city centre.
very nicePosted Jun 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
just after getting back from a week at the augusta. Its a nice well kept hotel with staff that knows how to look after there guests. That famous hill.........I got there bracing myself for the "climb" up to the hotel worried about what I might find....I needent have worried=)We are talking about the hotel beeing located on a slight hill=)this hill starts down by the sea and gradually continues up to the hotel and is so slight that walking up it you ll barely notice it=)As for the area.hm..depends on what you want from your holiday. It was perfect for me.I went alone and wanted to stay close to shopping but still have the option of a beach close by and thats what I got.The bus nr 3 get you in to illietas(lovely beach!!!!) one direction and in to the centre of palma the other direction.Very handy. How ever,do not go to this hotel if you want a party holiday.I really liked it and I will def be staying there again so thank you to all the staff for a lovely week

Loved It!Posted May 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed this place. We had plenty of room to move around and it was the price of all the smaller hotels. It is just a short walk from the bus stop to the main bus in the city, so navigating to the city center was easy. The beds were a bit frim, but that was the only thing that needed improvement.

Recommended hotelPosted Apr 14, 2012
Staff helpful and very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. There was no night time noise making it a very relaxing and restful stay. It was no problem for us to manage the uphill walk to the hotel but would not suit people with a disability. That said, taxis were available at the bus stop. So handy for Porto Pi shopping centre and bus routes were nearby with frequent service. Very nice pool and terrace area. Would recommend this hotel to adults or families with older children. I would choose this hotel again.

Location: soller the old town was a good half day trip out. saturday has a market. get the bus or the old train.
shame about the location, but had a great stay. staff were great. 5 star service in a 3 star hotel. not for those with walking difficulties, but I loved my stay. rooms are not fantastic but very clean, and includes breakfast. which was very good. a long way away from good eating establishment. I would definately book here again if in Palma. if you can figure out the buses you dont have to take taxies everywhere. try it and see. nothing to do with hotel but was charged an extra 6 euros to get a taxi to cruise port. didnt understand why and driver didnt speak english. try and get an upper floor room and you can have a balcony overlooking the pool.

Very EnjoyablePosted Jul 12, 2011 on Hotels.com
Cannot fault the Hotel or the staff. Breakfast was a really good buffet. Tairport bus (2 euros) stppoed at Porto Pi Centro, at the bottom of the hill ( the only annoyance) just 10 mins walk away. Pool was clean and never busy. Lots of free beds and sunshades. We stayed for 4 days spur-of-the -minute and loved it. The bar menu was good, but limited if eating in day and night. We ate out most nights and buses into Palma are cheap and convenient. A small kitchen allows preparation of lunch if you wish. All staff courteous and helpful.

Augusta HotelPosted Jun 17, 2011 on Hotels.com
We stayed for one night on route to our holiday destination after a late flight and found the man on the desk to be extremely helpful - he gave us a very warm welcome, particularly so we thought, given that we arrived in the early hours of the morning. Our room had a small kitchen area separate from the bedroom and bathroom in a somewhat unusual layout but I guess this would be handy if you're on a budget. We found we had twin beds which were on the firm side in a room that could've done with a few more windows but we slept fine. Breakfast was included free and was great. Overall for the price a good place for a short stay.
