property was great. The rooms were clean and the staff were great. The breakfast was a bit expensive for what was offered. Location is not bad, but you do have to drive or take public transport if you don’t want to walk far.

Lovely accommodation on the hill
Very lovely accommodation, spacious with a balcony. Breakfast had a nice selection. About 4kms from the city centre, so not the closest location in terms of walking, but plenty of buses (bus no. 4, 20 & 46) taking about 22 mins, costing €2. 1.5 km walk to the awesome medieval castle "Castell de Bellver". Please note, the pool is closed during the off season.

It is a good hotel with a great pool and great staff, however the bar closes at 2:30pm which means you cannot get drinks in the afternoon which is a little bit weird. Overall satisfied

Amazing location - about a 10 minute walk from the marina area. Loved the staff who were so friendly! The pool is great although after 5pm bring bug spray because I definitely got bitten.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was modern and very clean. The staff were very friendly! The hotel is only 10 minute walk to the strip and the Harbour. There is a bus stop right outside that could take you into Palma city. The swimming pool is not too big. The location isn’t a very tourist area so a lot of restaurants don’t serve food between 4-7pm. We found the clubs and restaurants to be a bit on the more expensive side than we had hoped. For couples and friend holidays it would be great but I don’t think it would be the location would be fit for children as the strip is constantly packed and full of people partying and drinking. But overall we did enjoy our stay!

Great hotel
Everything was absolutely exceptional. Our room for 3 people was so spacious and comfortable. The balcony also had plenty of room and we enjoyed sitting outside in the morning. Only complaint is that breakfast was not included with my booking, which was essentially my fault but I wish there was a better distinction since most hotels include complimentary breakfast. Overall a lovely hotel!

General Comments We thought the room and bathroom was excellent although we would have liked more drawer space. The air conditioning was good and easy to control and the balcony was quite spacious and has a nice outlook board the castle ,mountains and the hotel and other gardens close by.

good hotel
very clean and tidy hotel. If you don't mind walking up steps or hill its ok otherwise about 30 mins to centre of Palma or 20 mins walk to beach or by bus 3 euros pp single fare.When we arrived Sunday and left Saturday there was 2 hen leaving and stag party arriving so not sure if it would have been noisy. Breakfast is 14 euros if not booked, otherwise there's no places to get b/fast only croissant and hot drink.

Ive stayed at NH in other cities and this hotel seems to a re branded model. The hotel in Den Haag is much nicer. Also located up on a hill without a view. Next visit I would look at a different location

Lovely location but out of Palma main city
Great hotel but located up a steep hill so expect a walk. Taxis are about €7-€10 from old Palma depending on time of day and the No. 46 bus stop is just outside. The hotel itself is fairly quiet and small and suited us well. The pool is clean and quiet when we stayed there. The staff are very helpful and our room was clean with A/C. I would stay again but think that a more centrally located hotel may suit people who don't want to walk/bus into town. We arrived early in Palma and got to the hotel at about midday. We were told that check-in was at 3 p.m. but had hoped that we could check in early but this could not be accommodated as our room was not ready. Although the hotel offered to store our bags, there was nowhere for us to change so we had to wait around until 3 p.m. Despite being told about the check-in time, it would have been nice to have been accommodated earlier.

A nice, modern hotel a short bus or taxi ride from the centre and cathedral. It is also a short downhill walk to Porto Pi where there are restaurants and shops. There is a taxi rank opposite the hotel and it costs about 10 Euros to the centre. The local bus and hop on hop off bus stop near the hotel. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

There were six staying in three rooms. Hotel staff were very helpful especially as we needed a twin room and one of our party were arriving later than the rest. Room service was good and prompt and the breakfast was also good with hot food being prepared when requested. Definitely a place to stay in Palma.

Much further from centre of Palma than description. Up a very steep hill. Breakfast very exsprsive and not with it if you are small and can't eat a lot.

Great hotel with friendly staff
Arrived as the restaurant was closing but they didn't mind and cooked us a light meal with drinks. Room was clean fresh and modern. Excellent pool and patio area and friendly staff. There's a small shop and a cafe/bar a few mins away and the PI Mall is a 5/6 min walk. Lots of shopping and restaurants. A short €7 taxi ride takes you to the city with the cathedral shopping and bars/restaurants and culture. All in all a great place for a break.

Nice hotel, great pool, shame about the hill!
Slight confusion at check in when they insisted they couldn't comply with request for twin beds rather than a king size (despite requesting weeks prior). They did solve the problem. Overall, staff were cheerful and went out of their way. Room service coffee in morning very efficient. We always had to ask for drinks at reception then wait in the bar until someone attended. No food after 1pm and there is little around the hotel for snacks (one small convenience store and cafe). Not a massive problem though. Ten minute downhill walk to local restaurants and it was incredibly hot so we didn't ever walk back up (4 or 5 Euros in a taxi each time). We are both quite fit and like to walk but nothing would have convinced me to tackle the hill, very steep and taxis belting along very fast with almost no pavement. The room (208) was lovely, nice balcony overlooked pool and garden. Very clean and modern, plenty space and ample wardrobe etc. Decent hairdryer, air con very good. Cleaning was excellent, room made up beautifully every day. Balcony was shaded in morning and sunny all afternoon until quite late. Ask for this side of hotel, other side looks on to street. We had a great view across to city. The pool was lovely, very quiet, never a problem getting a sunbed and peaceful (no music etc). Would recommend for a short break over city hotel. Was easy to get a taxi back and forth and not expensive (7 euro to old town). Not much for kids there though, which suited us fine.

Better Air Conditioning PLEASE!
The temperature of the room on both of our stays was just too hot! They should adjust the AC so it goes a bit lower than they allow. Having restrictions on the temperature of the room is unacceptable. I'm paying for comfort, so please let me be comfortable. I'll not stay here again because of this.

Walked from bus stop - big mistake! Difficult to find - not on TomTom/iphone MAPS although it was on Google maps! Then we walked straight past it as the Hotel name outside building is Hesperia! Not NH Ciudad de Mallorca!!!!!!!! Room nice but sink tap was hot on cold feed and cold on hot feed! A bit dangerous. Location is up steep hill and a bus ride from town centre which was disappointing. Luckily there is taxi rank outside. Nice pool area, although the pool is very deep!

A lovely hotel. Our room was spacious with good air conditioning and a small balcony area.Nice pool area with good loungers, umbrellas and daybeds. Excellent breakfast buffet with vast choice. We had a car so the location was fine for us but you would be limited if you didn't have a car. The bus stop directly behind the hotel is good though, the bus takes you into Palma every 20min or so. You can walk downhill to the shopping centre at Portopi in less than 10mins if you go the right way! We also walked to Cala Major in the evening but it took us nearer to 30 mins - and the hotel is back up a very steep hill! Overall, a lovely hotel and a lovely holiday.

Highly Disappointed
The room was nice, and we would have enjoyed it infinitly more if the air conditioning hadn't been so woefully inadequate for staying in Palma in the summer. Additionally, in order to have electric in the room, you had to insert your key card in a slot at the door, which is something I've never experienced before. So, since we were only given one key card, if we had left the room, we would have lost what little air conditioning that might have existed up to that point. I hardly slept, it was so hot in that room. We were VERY disappointed. If the AC had been proper, and we had had unlimited access to electricity, I would feel much differently about the hotel. As it is, I would NEVER CONSIDER staying there during the summer again.
