Secrets Villamil is a fantastic hotel, high quality, and very relaxing environment. The staff are all friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They even gave us a free upgrade to a larger room with large balcony compared to what we had originally booked. The room was very spacious and comfortable and like the rest of the hotel it was spotlessly clean. We don't normally take the half board option but were delighted we did as the food selection, quality and dining service was excellent both for breakfast and dinner. For me the best part of the hotel is the beach front location. The rear of the hotel and the outlook from the beautiful lansdscaped grounds, wonderful pool area on the terrace or the external bar terrace area is stunning. I have to commend the staff who are responsible for the maintenance of the trees, garden and external pool areas as they were all immaculate. Especially considering there was a storm the day before we arrived, they very quickly tidied up the storm debris and brought everything back to being pristine within 24 hours! The sun beds are very high quality and there are none of the usual shortages you can get at other hotels. The ability to stay in the secure hotel grounds but only be 25 to 50 yards to the beach and sea if you want it is fab. We had a great time and would like to thank all the hotel staff for making such a memorable weeks stay. We have already recommended the hotel to some other family members and friends!

This hotel has all the potential to be a “5 star” hotel, but it just misses the mark. It is very understaffed, with employees working multiple jobs in one day and even at the same time, leaving guests waiting for service at every point: at the valet, checking in, guest services, restaurants, pool, etc. There wasn’t even anyone to greet us upon arrival and I ended up having to hunt someone down to valet my car. Spanish hospitality is very hard to come by and this hotel is no exception. The “all-inclusive” option is a hoax, the restaurants try really hard to be fine-dining establishments by making you wait in between “courses” and adding embellishments to meals, but the food is just not good and don’t even step foot into that “Asian” restaurant, if you could even call it that. The breakfast and dinner buffets at first glance seem pretty good, but upon a closer look, you’ll find foods that have been sitting out for hours with no temperature control, flies infesting the fruit and meats, and overall very underwhelming. The only saving grace in terms of food is the poolside eatery, but again the wait for service is very long. Now the rooms are ok, just think Best Western or Motel 6 unless you have the foresight to book one of the “club member” rooms, which I thought when I paid over $5500 for 7 nights for an ocean view balcony room would afford me at least a “3 star” hotel room, but no; peeling paint, 2 twin beds pushed together to make, and terrible AC. Don’t waste your money!

This is not a 5 star hotel ….. at best 3.5/4 star… Staff was pleasant, but require more training in certain areas especially if they want to be a proper 5 site…… we stayed in a non smoking room above the Smoking area down bellow on the ground floor, so could not enjoy the fresh air from our balcony

We stayed at Villamil For four nights whilst we did a race and were very impressed. fOne of the best buffet breakfasts I’ve ever had! Beautiful grounds, great location, lovely clean rooms and serviced well. Nothing bad to say about this hotel and we will definitely be back.

I’m from the states and I was to say the service is impeccable! The experience manager is stunning with how much effort she puts into making sure the stay is wonderful for all guests. Can’t say enough great things about her and the the overall staff. First night we were there they had a very enjoyable boat ride that takes you out so you can see the ocean that surrounds the resort. The breakfast is great and large selection- eggs, omelet bacon, and champagne! Lots of nice restaurants at the hotel. Beautiful pool, and very clean. Outside the hotel- Mary Mar restaurant is a must! My wife’s birthday was during our stay- and we had a bottle of champagne waiting in the room along with a 20 minute massage for her From the hotel. She loved this surprise waiting in the room when we got home that evening. Every night we had chocolates on our bed along with two bottles of water. They were on top of everything at this resort It seemed like a lot older crowd arrived the last night which was September 6th. The only thing we would do differently is spend more time in Ibiza but has nothing to do with this resort. Make sure to explore the island because there is a lot to see in Mallorca if you’re not from the area. Magaluf is great and Canyon de la Calobra. Thanks! :)

Amazing hotel! I have just returned from staying 7 nights and all I can say is wow! The location of the hotel is fantastic, right on the beach although with the facilities at the hotel you probably won’t want to leave the pool. My room was great, for some reason I think mine was a little larger than others. The service was amazing, everyone is so friendly and the turndown service at night is a special treat. Can’t wait to go back again!

Great Location
My husband and I recently spent 4 days at the Hesperia Mallorca Villamil. The location of the hotel is excellent. The back of the hotel faces a stretch of a beautiful, white, sandy beach. The hotel is expertly landscaped, has a crystal-clear swimming pool and lots of lounges. Hotel Villamil is located on a street where both sides are filled with restaurants, bars and clothing and food stores. The people are friendly but unfortunately most staff speak little or no English. This caused us to have problems with wake up calls, directions, general information and responding to our call that someone was trying to get into our room. Also, it's a 30 minute taxi ride to main city of Palma and the Medieval décor is not my taste.

Nice beach resort
Nice hotel, first line, direct access to the beach. Good breakfast, fine a la carte restaurant, another good seafood restaurant in walking distance. Spacious room, clean and new, good amenities.

lovely views over the bay
We were give a room initialy which had a smell of drains.We were given a smaller room to sleep in and a further room the next day which had less of a smell.

Our stay at Hesperia Villamil was amazing. The resort is beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained. They have live music entertainment almost every night, one night they had a complimentary cocktail party and every Thursday they do a complimentary 2h boat ride around the bay. We didn't try to evening buffet but the breakfast buffet has everything you could ever want and the service is superb. There are plenty of shops and restaurants right outside but I would recommend googling them first as a lot are tourist traps with crappy food. We ate at Los Poetas Andaluces three times during our six night stay, amazing food and very reasonably priced.

Fabulous hotel
Superb hotel which made our holiday. Staff were wonderful and attentive. Rooms cleaned in the morning and then turned down at night with bottle water replenished. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice- all very fresh. Local area is good too with many lovely restaurants- I advise people to look on tripadvisor to find the best!

Beautiful hotel
We have been to Peguera many times over the last 20 years but never stayed at the Villamil until now. The hotel is right in the heart of the town and also right on the beach. We stayed with our two teenaged boys in two rooms. We upgraded our room so that we had a lovely view of the beach and bay otherwise we would not have liked the view over the main road and the 'chicken shop'. All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and approachable and someone is always on hand 24 hours a day to help. The facilities are excellent. The only minor criticism would be that the Gym is small and would benefit from more space, equipment and free weights. Otherwise we could not fault the hotel and would recommend it if you are after a relaxing holiday in a quieter part of this beautiful island.

The hotel and facilities are very nice and relaxing. The beach was not overcrowded and there are some crowded beaches in the area.
