We had the most unforgettable time at BonSol! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the hotel was absolutely beautiful. You can tell the owners/staff have so much love for the hotel and what they do. Our overall experience was unforgettable and we will definitely be coming back!

Great one bedroom suite with private terrace close to Palma with plenty of space and two bathrooms for a reasonable price. Very Covid friendly as our suite's front door opened up to the outdoors and we were able to walk down the outdoor steps (I believe there are lifts inside) to the large open air restaurant by the beach which is spread over many terraces and is a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner beside the Mediterranean. Bring your appetites as the food offerings are generous, meat dishes handled better than seafood. Unobtrusive and enjoyable evening entertainment - Spanish guitar and Flamenco. Family run for decades, it feels a little like being invited into your hosts home. Quiet, partly residential neighborhood with some nice local restaurants and a couple of pretty beaches close-by.

We couldn’t get in our room till late as someone had checked out late to start with but the girls on reception were supper helpful and tried to make our stay as nice as possible. The pool by the beach is lovely

Lovely hotel with friendly staff offering charm and character located within easy reach of Palma. Whilst the evening meal was excellent and in a fabulous setting, the breakfast unfortunately was poor with limited choice.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience at Hotel Bon Sol. I only wish we had more than 2 days to take it in! The staff was extremely attentive and friendly and our room, balcony and view exceeded expectations. The hotel itself had a lot of character and charm, and the private beach access was great. Parking is somewhat limited and could be tricky to find when the small lot was full, but wasn’t a huge issue for us.

Lovely Hotel
We enjoyed very much our stay! All staff is so helpful and nice! Incredible. We loved the cala beach that belongs to the hotel. The other beaches were crowded but not the hotel's one. Excellent quality of food and linen! Precious views from the rooms. Fantastic gardens! They prepared great surprise for my birthday, although i did not informed them about it. Thank you Daniel, Claudia, Olga, Aziza, Vicky, Clemente!

There isn’t anything we didn’t like, the property offered everything we required from nice clean and spacious bedrooms to great restaurants several swimming pools and access to the beach and also family owned and run.

Great hotel, excellent service, ideal break
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were perfect, not too firm, not too soft. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel had a nice relaxed atmosphere. There was a varied vegetarian option and my meal at dinner was excellent, you are requested to tell them your vegetarian meal choice the day before. However, if you forget there was still vegetarian meals/ starters available on the menu. The drinks were generous and well priced and dessert was delicious too (especially the coconut cake, it was divine). The weather was a bit cool but we had packed in preparation for this, we didn’t go to the beach because of this. We will probably go back but when it’s a bit warmer.

Convenient to Port Calanova. Clean. Staff was very helpful. There is beach access and our room had a big balcony with a view of the bay. The medieval decor is a bit strange, but whatever. Various food options in the restaurant—you can make special requests for dinner if you are vegetarian or have food allergies but you have to tell them in the morning (at reception) what you want to eat for dinner. The beach restaurant is a good option if that’s the case because you can go to the salad bar in addition to getting a main meal.

A hotel full of character, family owned and run
Fabulous luxiourous peaceful hotel - family run family owned. Staff very friendly and helpful. Standard very high. Members of family eat all meals in the dining room and show genuine interest in their guests. Our third visit to the hotel and the beautiful island. Recommend taxi from airport and renting car locally - easy and pleasent car rental next door. A lovely stay - enjoying the sun and reading our books at the hotel's beautiful private cove (sea wasnt quite warm enough to swim in April)

A Relaxing Stay at the Hotel Bon Sol
Very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All staff were very helpful, customer service excellent. Hard to find fault with anything. However, this is not a sterile corporate chain hotel, it like staying at the home of an old wealthy relative which is decorated with the art and furniture they like and have collected over the years. However, that is the charm of the place. I would stay again.

They've thought of everything!
Beautiful, traditional hotel in a quiet resort, but only 5 miles from Palma. Family run and the owners are part of the daily life of the hotel. Felt as if nothing would be too much trouble. Room was spacious and elegant with a large terrace and spotlessly clean. (Bed was a little hard for my liking, but my husband loved it) two restaurants serving four courses with plenty of choice. Direct access to the small cove - sea was clear and warm. It's a very quirky hotel set on three levels into the hillside and there are a lot of steps. Alternatively you can use the lifts and tunnel system, but still a fair amount of walking. The evening entertainment is not great but otherwise we loved it and, as many others have, we would definitely return.

Wonderful Hotel
As a single parent with a 13 and 16 year old this was a perfect place to stay. The room was spacious for the 3 of us and the children could safely and freely make their way around down to the sea and the pool. You could do as much or as little as you wanted with the on site gym, table tennis, pool table and spa. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and the evening meals where very tasty. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Repeat Visit - like So Many Customers Before Us
This is our 5th stay in three years at this wonderfully run family establishment. It makes such a pleasant change from the corporate run hotels. The service levels are first class, genuinely discharged with the guests at the very heart of everything they do. Each member of the team, at all levels,exudes confidence and friendliness not exhibited in many other places. Nothing is too much trouble and they appear to have anticipated every need. Delivered with a smile on everyone's face it's not hard to see why guests come back time and time again. Perhaps what is just as impressive is that they appear not to be complacent and frequently request feedback to drive further improvement. Genuinely hard to beat, don't miss out, give it a go, you won't be disappointed .

Quirky but magnificent
We stayed for just 2 nights at Hotel Bon Sol at the end of a two week villa holiday. This was our first visit, and I feel sure that it will not be our last. The owners are always around, and you get the true feel that the creation of this oasis of calm and sophistication has been, and continues to be, a true labour of love.

Beautiful view in a unique and lovely hotel!
The ocean view from our balcony was absolutely stunning! The hotel itself had very good amenities and a delicious and HUGE breakfast buffet. The staff was generally very helpful. They even gave us a new room on our last day there since they couldn't accommodate a late check out for our particular room...that gave us the ability to enjoy a few extra hours before flying out. The only negative issue we had was the air conditioning was not working for almost a whole day, but they were finally able to resolve the problem (after several attempts). The rooms were not particularly luxurious, but adequate...I would say that in general, the hotel rooms could use some updating/upkeep. The beach area was small, but beautiful. Definitely get a float and/or snorkels from a local store to fully enjoy the water! The surrounding area wasn't that great, although there were some shops within walking distance. Bus and taxi stop were close by, so it was easy to get to the city. We had to take a taxi to go to restaurants, I did not see much within walking distance other than hotel restaurants. I would definitely come back to this hotel again!

A gem of a hotel
This is possibly one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Family run and with a real sense of caring about the guests. Not surprised that so many people I talked to had been going there for years. And as a single person I never felt out of place. It was so friendly. And while busy, because it was built around the garden and trees, it never feels crowded. In many ways feels more five star than four star. Loved it.

Ett av de bästa hotellen i Palma
En av de bästa hotellupplevelserna, kanske den bästa. Ett mycket genuint hotell med en dedikerad familj som driver det. Det märks att det råder god stämning, området är inte överexploaterat utan man kostar på sig parkpromenader och mycket grönska, charmigt med alla terasser och omsorg av detaljer (det märks att man bryr sig). Mycket bra frukost, middagarna superba och särskilt firandet av 50 år var en mäktig upplevelse att vara med på. Slutligen: All personal supertrevliga och tillmötesgående och en väldigt fin plats som man valt att utveckla med känsla. Tack!

Kæmpe anbefaling
Kæmpe anbefaling til dette fine hotel. Ligger i et ikke så turistet område - stille og roligt. Skønt hotel med egen lille strand og flot have med pools i forskellige niveauer. Hotellet er også beliggende i forskellige niveauer men fint forbundet med elevatorer og tunneler under vejene, der er dog stadig trapper, så ikke velegnet til gangbesværede. Personalet er super søde og hjælpsomme - hvis man henvender sig med et problem, bliver det løst med det samme. Dejlig morgenmadsbuffet. Vi havde den skønneste udsigt over havet og kunne se ind til Palma. Dette er ikke et hotel for den vilde ungdom. Aldrig et problem at finde en solseng, også selvom man ikke står op med solen og krydser med håndklæder i forvejen. Vi kommer igen!

Sehr altes Hotel, das noch auf dem Niveau der 80iger Jahre verharrt. Die Qualität der Zimmer ist sehr unterschiedlich, von sehr einfach (Niveau **) bis gehoben ***+. Die Technik ist auf dem Stand der 80iger Jahre stehen geblieben. So gibt es z.B. bis heute keine Chipkarten für die Zimmer. Es werden noch Zimmerschlüssel mit Profilzylindern genutzt. Für manche Einrichtungen benötigt man dann aber doch noch eine zusätzliche separate Chiparte. Das Hotel wirkt wie eine alte Burg, an der über Jahrzehnte herumgebaut worden ist, um sie immer größer zu machen. Immer größer bedeutet jedoch nicht unbedingt immer besser....Zumindest das Frühstück ist sehr gut....

Hotellet har funnits i familjens ägo i 70 år och hela familjen är engagerad i verksamheten. Hotellet har en liten strand och två stora poolområden. Stranden är relativt otillgänglig för äldre och det är mycket trappor att ta hänsyn till. Det som genomsyrar hotellet är den fantastiska servicen. Rummen är fräscha och vi har alltid bokat svit och dessa är mycket rymliga. Maten var bättre förr men håller ändå relativt god standard. Drycker, öl och vin, är endast lokala.
