“Scotish Hotel on Mallorca”

Hotel was great for the price, everything was clean, the staff was very friendly, breakfast was ok. The location was good with the beach (harbor) being very close. Both the pools at the hotel were wonderful for kids and adults alike. There were games and shows for the kids. Most of the guest were from Scotland and despite having a bit of a hard time understanding their english, the Scots were very nice! I looked at a few of the other hotels around that area and it was obviously that I had made a good choice. Great hotel, great staff, had a great time.

My husband and me went to this hotel on half board, and were we surprised the food was fantastic the choice excellent tho drinks service could have been a bit quicker. The room size was fine tho the shower was very small any one a bit over weight would really struggle. That said room was clean and housekeeping service was spot on. Hotel was just a 2 min walk away from beach and shops and bars.We were in the quieter area but just up the road were loads of lively bars so something for everyone. Only complaint was the life guard at the pool was never there so you would have to be aware of that if you have children. So visit this hotel I highly recommend it.

“Good Stay at the Playa”

we stayed here for 4 nights in july and had a great time. the rooms arent very big but are comfortable with en-suite bathroom. we had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool which was nice. The hotel provides a very plentiful breakfast and is in a very good location, less than 5mins walk to the beach! Santa Ponsa is a small family resort and is perfect for a sunny getaway

restful break. good atmosphere, no pressure to join in activities. clean rooms, lovely food , very polite professional staff. cheerful room maids. good service, would go there again. wonderful beach and good selection of shops and restuarants, felt safe the whole holiday.

“Great Hotel”

Hubby and I just spent a week here A.I. This was a perfect break. Food and drink all very good. Never had a problem getting sunbeds and really liked that they were all on grassy areas with plenty of shade if you want. All the kids here seems to be kept busy and enjoyed the activities available. This Hotel was in a quiet area which is what we wanted but still very close to the beach and all the shops, restaurant and nightlife. Our first visit to Santa Ponsa and it was a lovely place which caters for all ages. Will be back to this Hotel.

“Good time was had by all”

Hotel was booked late in peak season, arrival went extremly smoothly, room was not overly large for the three of us but we got by ok. Food was OK (self service) for the price we paid,and you could always find something that you liked to eat. Staff in dining room and cleaning staff were excellent. Entertainment was typical of this standard of hotel, some people loved it others like ourselves were not to keen. Two star hotel trying to be a three star. Departure at 6-30 a.m. hotel opened dining room for breakfast without any request from ourselves. Nice touch. have stayed in 3&4 star that have not done this service. Overall Santa Ponsa great resort, and would reommend this hotel

“perfectly simple!”

this hotel is only listed as a 2* which wrried me slightly but there was no need. It is clean, well maintained and has very friendly staff. It is also the sister hotel of 2 hotels across the road which are 3*s and you can use all the facilities there too (i did as they had bigger pools). However, you are soooo close to the beach at this hotel that there really isn't any need to hang around anyway! Santa Ponsa beach is beautiful and thre are many places to explore too. Transport to all over the island is good too so it really is a perfect base. At night the hotel has entertainment which is often very funny - it's nothing amazing but if you don't like it there are plenty of other places to go to in Santa Ponsa so it's excellent to have the choice! ! loved this hotel, the location and it was everything i needed for a 5 day peaceful getaway!

“Good value for money, close to the beach”

Overall a very good value for money, you get exactly what you have paid for. The hotel is very well located for local shops, restaurant and a very nice beach is literally across the street. The guest are mixed - British, German, French, Dutch, Eastern Europeans. Mainly middle aged people with kids or elderly, so you can expect quiet night sleep. Definitely no hordes of drunk teenagers roaming the halls until early am hours - thank God for that. Some rooms have a nice sea view, hotel has a parking - they did not charge us a penny for it! Would stay again!
