Great Hotel, clean, friendly, good choice of food

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: I liked the fact that it was quiet and peaceful and nobody wanted me to play darts I must say that the staff in the spa were excellent
Cons: From what i saw the only thing that i would improve is the rooms on the top floor which i feel are quite tired.
Location: Location good if you want peace and quiet, not so good if you cant walk up hills.
If I were to visit this hotel again I would choose the room carefully as the first room that we were offered the bedroom was dark but I must say that the staff moved us to a room that suited without any fuss or delay The staff in the hotel, bar, restraunt and spa were friendly and helpful and the cleanliness was good. The location of this hotel was perfect for us but you would need to be fairly fit to walk up the hills. If you want a hotel that has razzamatazz dont go here, it is peaceful and tranquil.

Excellent Hotel, Great Location

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: It was very clean, the atmosphere was relaxed - a general feeling of calmness and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: We thought that the service and the facilities were excellent and there was very little room for improvement.
Location: The hotel is at the top end of the resort and has little or no passing traffic or pedestrians and as a result, is very peaceful.
The hotel has two sections - the main hotel and the Star Prestige Club. Guests staying in the Prestige Club have exclusive use of a separate pool and bar but can also use all of the other facilities in the main part of the hotel. After much research, we opted to take a room in the Star Prestige Club - and upon check in decided to upgrade to a swim up room. It was money well spent as we could slide open the doors to our own area with our sun loungers (no need to put towels out at 7am) and literally step straight into the pool. We also took the half board option, and although I did have some reservations about doing this, I need not have worried as the food for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. There was always a varied choice in the evening - all well presented and cooked perfectly. The location is really good, at the top of the resort - it does not have a beach, but the main beach in Santa Ponsa is only a few minutes walk away. There are two good sized pools ( one restricted for Prestige Club ) and there are steps down from the rocky bay into the sea. We hired a car and found some lovely places within 20 to 30 minutes of the resort - but if you don't want to drive, there is a taxi rank minutes from the hotel and fares to all main areas are listed and are quite reasonable if there are two or more travelling. The rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard and the staff do everything they possibly can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Best Hotel in Mallorca

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Everything
Location: Location was great and we went out for a wonderful cruise round the various bays plus it was ideally suited to get to Santa Ponsa
My wife ,son, and daughter in law had a great time in your hotel, and found the staff so friendly and helpful. The food and staff in the restaurant was great and the selection was very varied and the views from the hotel over the bay were magnificent. I will have no hesitation recommending this hotel to my many friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful Holiday Brian Robert Webster

Fantastic 4 star hotel

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: The air conditioning in the bedroom is provided by a large ceiling fan, which is quite noisy. We managed without it, but it got a bit hot and stuffy.
Location: Santa Ponsa is a 15 minute walk down a hill. It has lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Would recommend the 5 hour boat trip and also visiting Palma.
We had our honeymoon at the Jardin Del Sol several years ago and were revisiting it for our anniversary. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a superior suite, which had a separate bedroom and lounge area complete with a jacuzzi bath. It also had an enormous balcony complete with shower, tables and chairs, a day bed under a sun canopy and two recliners. The view across the bay was magnificent by day and night. The hotel was immaculately clean. The staff were friendly, polite, helpful and were really cheerful too. The range of foods on offer in the restaurant were excellent and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried. The hotel has a lovely spa and has daily activities if you want to keep fit. I really enjoyed the daily aqua gym sessions and had a lot of fun learning to paddle board and kayak. I really couldn't fault this hotel, it was first class.

Brilliant hotel with exceptional helpful staff

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Peaceful, clean, relaxing and first class facilities as well those lovely cocktails adults only gave the hotel a quality of relaxation.
Cons: Our only request would be for tea making facilities in the room, but that is us just being lazy and wanting to make a tea in the mornings
Location: The beach is very nice but busy we found other beaches nearby by taxi where there are several coves with beaches and sun chairs.
A wonderful hotel with first class amenities. On arrival the reception staff went to great lengths to welcome us and being early arrivals we were given complimentary breakfast whilst a room was being allocated. Food is amazing and choices are extremely varied so much so that we struggled to decide what to eat. Room is something we have not seen before and the jacquizi is the centre piece to the room. Only regret is we wished we upgraded to the superior suites and those amazing sun beds. The pool is amazing clean and sun beds are situated around the sea views with plenty of spaces for all to enjoy.

Adults only hotel by the sea

Posted Aug 11, 2014
I stayed at this hotel with my husband for a week in August. We loved that it was adults only as we are both teachers and on our summer holiday! Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, fairly basic. Loved the large tub! Only real issue was we had a kitchen area with hob and fridge etc but absolutely no kitchenware! We had to go and buy a knife!! The Prestige area looked lovely, pool seemed a bit small. We were happy to be in the general area, bigger pool and easy access to the bar and the sea! The area itself was a bit too 'Brits abroad' for us but we found a nicer area that was 10 mins in a taxi- nicer bars and restaurants.
