“We vwere very impressed with this Hotel and will certainly return in the near future”

We stayed at the hotel in September 2008 and were very impressed. Until we arrived we did not realise it was a German speaking hotel. This did not bother us as all the staff had a good understanding of English.We went for the buffet breakfast and dinner option. The food was of excellent standard and not your normal rolls ham and cheese. We has a junior suite which meant you could self cater if you wanted. We hired a car from the airport as the hotel in on the other side of the island. The hotel had its own car park aswell as being able to park outside the hotel in the road. This may be a problem in July and August when other hotels in the area have guests.

This hotel is ok, but the hotel is not worth a 4 stars and it was quite disappointing. The cleaning was good, we had new towels, our bed done, the garbages changed and the floord wiped every day. But the electricity was bad: the air conditioning went off every night, the TV was turning on several times at night (we had to unplug it before going to bed), the remote control was barely working, regarding the channels: there was only 1 in English (Eurosport - no international news channel). The power went off at night, we had to wait for an hour on the terrace for it to be fixed (we asked if we could go get anything to make up for it, but no, not even a drink).The web site says it has a tennis court, but when you want to book, you are given the number of the actual owner and you have to deal with him. So why saying that they have a tennis court? The spa pool was good, but there was nobody managing the spa ( just a bunch of empty "treatment rooms" locked up. The sauna was good (when it was working), but the steam room wasn't and was smelling awful. The food was ok, catering mainly to German customers (95 % of the tourists in the area are germans). It had what a buffet needs to have (eggs, bacon, cheese, bread, fruits, yogurt, etc. but everything was of very low quality, nothing to make you excited to go for berakfast... Outdoor pool was very good and there is entertainement every night (if you are looking for a quiet holiday, it;s not). It was "ok" but not what you expect...
