Nice Hotel, Needs Better Service

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: The hotel was modern and chic. It was well maintained and clean.
Cons: Customer Service.
Location: The hotel was very central and located near stores and restaurants, bars and pubs.
When we first arrived, there was a lack of customer service and we were made to wait as we watched one front desk helper walk away from us while another came out and start fiddling about on her computer. Several minutes later she looked up at us in surprise and asked if we were being helped. As we were checking in, she asked us to confirm whether we had booked with Expedia and then gave us a room with a terrible view that was on the 2nd floor and all we heard was traffic all day long. We asked for a room facing the pool but she said there were none left. She left us with the impression that our accommodation had to do with the fact that we booked through Expedia. We were not impressed with that.

Nice Hotel but unfriendly staff and bad location

Posted Jul 29, 2014
It is a beautiful hotel. However, it is located right next to Nikki Beach, which makes it extremely noisy. The rooms are clean and comfortable but stuff are horrible. Even the management is very rude. Also it is very expensive given its location (19€ for a breakfast). You can find much nicer beaches around with nicer bars and reataurants. Therefore, if you someone who likes nice sceneries, and who likes to explore the culture and the food stay away from Magaluf and this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, useless staff

Posted Jul 21, 2014
The hotel itself was beautiful, however staff were very unhelpful. Needed to add one more night to our stay, due to a flight mix up. My boyfriends mother called up from UK to book an extra night, and was told that would be fine, and we would only have to pay 30 euro extra, and would be moved to a different room as the one we originally booked was booked for that extra night. Came to the thursday and we packed our cases to transfer rooms, when we arrived at reception we were told they had no booking in their system and that there was nothing they could do. We were left sitting in the lobby with all our luggage, having to solve the problems ourselves. They denied telling us the cost would only be an extra 30 euros, and we ended up having to pay 200 euro for an extra night due to the hotels mistake. We also wasted alot of our day waiting around to sort out plans. Not one member of staff apologised or offered us an alternative, they were most unhelpful.

Wonderful honeymoon

All we wanted and more. From the initial greeting to the final goodbye. Excellent. The towel rule was brilliant as it meant there were always sun-beds available. A maximum of 25mins unattended.

Awesome

Pros: Very friendly staff and very clean room.
Very friendly staff, very nice room, we upgraded to a see view and it was worth it. I would recommend the breakfast too, it is good quality and caters for all tastes. The bar by the beach is amazing too, again, the staff are very friendly and very helpful. In the evening the bar by the beach serves dinner, and again the food quality is good. The hotel has a beach access, but you have to pay extra for the chairs and the umbrella which are not owned by the hotel. There is a Nicki Beach right next door where parties are hosted and it is quiet fun. The swimming pool is not that big but it is quiet nice, there is competition for the spots at the pool front and the booths need to be reserved in advance. The hotel is on the edge of what Magaluf, which is more of a British town than a Spanish one, so expect pubs and kebab shops. Palma is 30 minutes drive away and it is a very beautiful city and full of nice restaurants and cafes.

Nearly perfect

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Modern, clean and friendly staff
Cons: Food was average, didn't match the high standards set by the rest of the service at the hotel
Location: Hotel is like 5-10mins walk away from the notorious Magaluf strip, in a quiet area.
Hotel, staff and facilities were excellent. Booked the hotel for a stag-do for 20 guys. Not typically a hotel that such a large group would stay at, but it proved to be an excellent choice. Location was great for those that wanted to party hard, but far enough from the crazy nightlife to have a relaxing holiday. With great facilities at the hotel, I could've have stayed within the hotel compounds all day.

Excellent!!

Stayed here with a friend for two nights to get away from work. Had a great time, as we went to the resort of 'Magaluf' primarily for the nightlife it was great to chill out in the day. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, cleaners etc all very polite. The room was I believe the basic 'Aura', which was by no means basic! Large spanish double, modern furnishings, ipod dock, big flat screen TV and subtle A/C. The pools were great, the main pool which is next to Nikki Beach is great if you want to chill out and listen to their music in the day, great view of the beach and yachts. Theres a secondary pool around the side which is larger and a lot quieter, we spent most of our time there nursing incredible hangovers! Overall 5/5*, couldn't praise it enough and would definitely not stay anywhere else in resort!
