Lovely hotelPosted Oct 14, 2014
Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Stylish clean rooms, good size balconies and lovely lush grounds. Pool area is gorgeous, with cabanas and loungers in gardens so you can always find a spot in the sun. Good location for going for a walk to get an icecream or to the beach. 10 mins from restaurants so not very noisy on an evening, could hear some music when on the balcony but silent when the door was shut. Plenty of room for car parking.

Relaxing in comfortPosted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Peaceful, relaxing, staff are super friendly, the hotel was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Food was excellent.
Cons: Me and the wife shared a private joke about the piped music being played in the pool bar and the live entertainment, but nothing to be troubled about.
Location: Dozens of bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. A couple of beaches nearby, however we were happy lazing around the pool each day.
A lovely place to recharge the batteries. If you are after a quiet relaxing holiday, then this is the place for you. Its our first time in Cala Dor and there does not seem to be too much noisy nightlife, which suited us. The hotel is lovely and we only booked a standard room which was perfect. We chose to eat out most nights but when we stayed in the hotel, the food was excellent. You can even get your ration of fried egg and bacon in the mornings. We will going back.

lever næsten op til hjemmesidenPosted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com

Beautiful Grounds & PoolPosted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: The suite, grounds, pool and staff were all excellent.
Cons: Better equipment in fitness center, weight bench, dumb bells to 25 kilo.
Location: Huge number of restaurants walking distance, beach, marina with more restaurants.
This is a beautiful spot, a quiet oasis amidst an ocean of restaurants and entertainment spots Our junior sweet was nicely furnished, the pool on this property is truly a beautiful spot. Our junior sweet was large, with a very large bath and nice balcony. The fitness room is large and sunny with a reasonable amount of equipment and dumb bell rack (but no weight bench). If you want to stay in Cala d'Or this is a great choice. It is very short walk to the beach. That said, the beaches in this area are small and very crowded. This was our first trip to Mallorca, should we return, we would stay on the northern part of the island.

Melia Cala D'orPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Calm, simple yet luxurious decor.
Location: Near all the restaurants and beaches - a walk to the harbour, but worth it!
Lovely hotel, tucked away from the hustle of the town, but walkable to everywhere. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Hotel room was huge, with sun drenched balcony - beautifully decorated. Beautiful boutique hotel & spa.

Lovely hotel, good food, near beachPosted Aug 15, 2014
Lovely staff, food very good although a little limited on evening meal menu. If you're a sun worshipper with small children meaning you want to be around the pool you might be disappointed as most beds are shaded for a large part of the day. Ask for a room on ground floor - lovely patio area and beds right outside your door in gardens.

Luxury hotel, nr to beaches, marina & shopsPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Pool, staff, food & room.- Everything!
Cons: Being very picky, but could have done with a few more coat hangers, I am sure if we had have asked they would have supplied them.
Location: Perfect for being close to main square of shops & restaurants. 10 minute walk for the marina. 5 minutes to nearest beach.
A quiet luxury hotel, staff very attentive, rooms air conditioned, beautiful swimming pool. Stayed for 1 week from 13/7, outside main school holidays.

Lovely boutique hotel in an ideal location.Posted Jun 23, 2014
Cons: We can't think of anything? Hotel and service were all brilliant, chocolate on my pillow was always a welcome treat after a hard day taking it easy!
Location: Good location, near everything. Beaches looked lovely but crowded - seriously though, when you've got a cabana and bar service who needs the beach!
Had a really nice week at the Melia in Cala d'or. Everything about the hotel was spot on. Room was clean and spacious (the bed was massive!). Staff were always friendly and helpful and the hotel, grounds and pools are gorgeous. Around the outside pool each pair of sun beds are separated by little hedges so you always have a bit of privacy. There are sun beds and cabanas dotted around the gardens so we had no trouble finding somewhere to relax. The pool bar staff are excellent and will even come and find you in your cabana to deliver a cold beer. Plenty of beaches, bars and restaurants a short walk away. This resort has something for everyone - it caters for couples or people with families, you can find your English Bar and Sunday lunch, but there are also lots of smart bars and restaurants serving authentic Spanish food and Tapas. The Marina area is a little further away, about a 20 minute walk. This was where we had most of our meals, we tried all of the Spanish restaurants on the Melia side of the Marina and we never had a bad experience. There is also a really good Thai restaurant there. All of the staff in all of the restaurants were excellent. The service was always very good, they seemed to know if you wanted a quick meal or if you were in a more leisurely mood and wanted to watch the millionaires yachts coming and going in the Marina. Take your sunglasses though, if you sit near the water just before sunset the sun is low in the sky and shines right in your eyes

1st class boutique hotelPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: relaxing comfortable
Cons: bar staff inexperienced
Location: located on wrong side of CalaDor. Best restaurants are by marina about 25 minute walk away. Town full of noisy bars and cheap restaurants
Excellent hotel quiet location unfortunately on wrong side of town
