Stayed four nights in rooms 508 and 510. Rooms functional and clean, and large enough without being spacious. Rooms had balconies, with two chairs and a table, and superb view of the beach and sea.
Amenities at the hotel were very good. Indoor pool empty most of the time, despite hotel being near full. On second floor is a large sunbathing area and a small court with a goal at each end which saw good use from my two grateful sons. Also an outdoor table tennis table but, for most of the time, so windy that Jan-Ove Waldner would have struggled to play on it.
Buffet breakfast was very good, a wide range of food, good coffee and real orange juice! Only gripe is that the croissants were nondescript but, thankfully, there was so much other food to choose from. Took the evening buffet (16 Euros, half price for kids) on three nights. Again, choice of food was extensive and, whereas it's not the best buffet I've consumed, it was very good.
Evening entertainment was not really my cup of tea, but seemed to go down very well with the younger kids staying at the hotel, and with the coachloads of older guests. A bit of flamenco, a film/music quiz, a comedy show, etc. etc.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would have no hesitation returning there. The staff were all really helpful, and when the manager goes out of his way to make you feel welcome in such a large hotel, you know they are confident they've got it about right.
