Great spot for a quick get-awayPosted Jun 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
My husband and I recently visited this hotel for a few days during a trip around Spain. The rooms are spacious and all have outdoor space/balconies facing the ocean. The bathroom was a good size and clean as well. We used the small gym, jacuzzi and sauna everyday and enjoyed the comfortable seating options outside at the pool. There was also free unlimited champagne all afternoon! The breakfast included was great, tons of food choices ranging from healthy to indulgent. We had the dinner buffet one night which was pretty good and visited two waterfront restaurants nearby the other evenings, where we found fantastic paellas. The nearby shops aren't worth seeing, but I definitely recommend heading out for a stroll at night to eat. All in all, a lovely stay.

Great hotel with great facilitiesPosted May 7, 2014
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere and adult only. Good food especially breakfast. Excellent location being close to beach shops and cycling routes.
Cons: The bike room was down 2 short flights of stairs which made it slightly awkward to get bikes in and out of the narrow staircase.
Location: Shops , restaurants, marina , bus stops , bike routes and beach all very close to hotel
We stayed at the Vanity for 1 week and used it as a base for cycling. Location for all the cycle routes was great. As was the access to bike hire and shops . Staff very friendly and helpful. Food especially breakfast very good. Rooms were clean and a good size with the bathroom slightly small but completely adequate. Pool area and gardens very well kept with a super choice of sunbeds to relax on. Beach only through the gate. Hotel within and easy walk of all shops and restaurants.

This was the second time my wife and I have stayed here. We upgraded to the Royal Suite which is definitely worth it (private hot tub and deck). Food was very good and service excellent. We will be going back.

Right on the beach.Posted Mar 15, 2014
Lovely quiet hotel. Breakfast very good, great buffet choice. Right on the beach and close to bars and restaurants. Seems to be mainly older guests that stay there, but ideal if you just want a quiet holiday.

Excellent well-positioned and well managed hotelPosted Oct 5, 2013
First class customer care from friendly reception on arrival through the rest of your stay. Help was readily available during our stay. For those who prefer to be without children on holiday, this is the place to be. Very good leisure facilities in attractive surroundings with direct access to the wide and well-cared for beach. Although the catering at the hotel is of a high standard there are many eating places within walking distance to vary your dining experience. A trip to the old town is a must where there is a wide variety of good eating places.

Great facility, superior servicePosted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: Size of the rooms, breakfast buffet, friendly staff and exceptional cleanliness of the facility.
Cons: We only ate once in the evening at the Wednesday BBQ, which was fine. However, we were not informed that men had to wear long trousers for dinner!
Location: Crowded beach, normal tourist shops and a good selection of restaurants.
We stayed for week. The hotel was busy but the facility was spotless at all times and the breakfast buffet truly exceptional. The staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely service touches, iced towels twice a day bought to your sunbed, complimentary fruit smoothies in the afternoon and unlimited free Cava on tap at the bar during the day. We felt really pampered. Being an 18+ resort meant that the pools were calm and no screeching or children running about made for a really relaxing stay.

Beautifully quiet hotelPosted Jul 20, 2013
We spent twelve days here on our honeymoon and despite no complimentary upgrade :( we had a fantastic time. We were offered champagne on arrival and a sneaky bottle from the night receptionist one evening, both of which were very welcome. We had a non sea view room, which had a balcony and views to the side of the hotel that captured the mountains and the town which we really enjoyed. We heard from other guests while we were there that the sea view rooms did come with a down side, that you were facing 'all the action' which meant noise at night and early in the morning. The hotel food was very very good! (we had breakfast and dinner daily and the occasional lunch). The clientele are generally 50+, so we in our 30's didn't really click with many. Although saying that the absence of screaming kids was wonderful, you take what you can get I guess! Alcudia bay is a beautiful area although it does not have much in the way of 30's night life. Our evening entertainment highlights were practicing our poor Spanish with the barman who run the excellent beach shack bar just outside the hotel to the left. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend some time in the sun away from children.

The bestPosted Jun 7, 2013
Pros: To many. Staff, location, pool area, breakfast, room. No kids.
Cons: Nothing really. Maybe not many other under 40's
Location: Great on water, on main road close to restaurants.
My wife and I loved this hotel. The area is great. Right on the water front and restaurants on the strip and main road start next block over from hotel. Great location. We didn't book the most expensive room but still got a water view on level 4. On arrival we were greeted at the font desk by one of the great staff members with champagne. She showed as a diagram of all available rooms for us to choose from and suggested we stay in the room we took. We were not disappointed. The front desk staff helped with everything. Their choice of restaurants was spot on. The car hire company they sent us to we're great and the cheapest rates with good cars. Unlike some other hotels that must have some arrangement with companies which may be more expensive. They breakfast was amazing. Everything you could think of. I usually ate so much I had to skip lunch. The pool and sun chairs and sunbeds were the best in the area. We could tell because everyone that walked past it on the boardwalk looked in and admired it. Great experience.

A Great Hotel - for now...Posted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: Super staff, great food, excellent pool area.
Cons: Unheated pool and a sloppy maid.
Location: Perfect location, perfect view - don't go any further down the beach!
This hotel is still one of the best hotels in Alcudia, but time is starting to take it's toll - definitely needs to be addressed before it's too late. The devil is in the details - new bedspreads, paint patching, heating the pool... Still, the staff are fantastic, the breakfast buffet is killer - not to mention the free champagne, and the location is optimal with a great view of the beach and a short walk to the best restaurants. We will certainly stay here again if we come back to Alcudia.
