“Price Performer”

Directly opposite and in plain view of train station on the town side of the tracks and canal. Quiet. One block from popular Stortorget that has plenty of restaurants in all price ranges. Single room was on small size, but not tiny. Full sized bathroom with large shower but no tub. Staff helpful, cheerful, and fluent in English. Full buffet breakfast in Bistro restaurant with huge variety of superb breads, rolls, pastries, meats, eggs, herring, cheese, yogurt, fresh fruits, and free newspapers. Free WiFi. Paid half what I paid in Copenhagen for a similar hotel. Recommend higly if you like a well-priced room that is clean and serviceable with no faults but not a destination in itself. Location, service, and breakfast made stay very attractive and worth a repeat.

“Decent location for decent price”

For a reasonable price we had a modest sized but clean room with a roomy shower. The location was good and close to many attractions. Good buffet breakfast, too.

“A good Hotel to stay”

Great location, right in front of Malmo Central, and at end of shopping street. The hotel is not luxurious, just normal, very clean, breakfast is excellent, room is huge!, even for American standards. Wireless internet works great.

“I expected more form Elite”

I expected more from this Elite hotel when booking a room. The interior renovation is all fake, but made to look genuine original. Being an architect, I can't be fooled by bad renovations. It's a bit glitzy without the truthfulness you would get at the Plaza or the Waldorf in NY for example. While keeping the outside historically intact, they could have had a sleek interior Scandinavian design that would have complemented it well. My single room was remarkably spacious, although in a more traditional style. My window was facing the interior court and had directly in front of it a huge air intake duct with filters for a mechanical system. Thank got the machine never turned on during the night I spent there!! But I had to use earplugs because there was music coming from a nightclub that was quite loud. I'm not sure if it was located within the hotel, but they should look into it. Being tired, I didn't have much problem falling asleep, so I didn't complain. The bathroom was nice, in black and white and a marble floor. The design of the bathroom sink was not very functional. No real space to put anything that is easily graspable. The 6 hour time limit on free wireless internet access is a bit tedious. They should give 24 hour code access. The French restaurant on the ground floor is convenient and the mood is inviting with its high plaster ceiling. I paid a very good price for the room (probably because of the ventilation duct and the non existant view), so I can't complain.

“Elite Hotel Savoy - Malmö”

Hotel was great. Opposite Central train station which meant 2mins walk. Walking distance from shops, Lilla Torg, parks. Room was a bit noisy but it was on the main street and train station so it was expected. Breakfast was great. Had luggage room and internet which was great too. I would stay there again.

“Good Location in Malmo”

Comfortable room, very good breakfast. Conviently located by Cental Station and a nice area within walking distance to many attractions.

“Ok but not to the decor I expected in online photos”

Hotel was nice but for the price I expected the rooms to be nicer. Old furniture and an even older mattress which was very uncomfortable. It was clean but was dissapointing, not like the modern decor I had imagined from the photos I saw online.

“Elite”

Breakfast was awesome. Rooms were not a clean as you would expect for the price and we had a room facing the train station. It was very loud since it was a warm day we needed to have windows open. Lots of busses.
