Would not say again but cheep
Run down hotel water coming from kitchen ceiling on to the electric cooker that made it trip tv broken but was replaced water did not get sorted even when reported he can but it still leaked. It is clean and frequently room cleaning pool area is ok clean good sun spot. Area is dirty but plenty of local shops and places to eat I would not stay again

Poor apartment broken tv leak from ceiling in kitchen that went on to the electric cooker I reported it and a person came but did not fix it. Tv was replaced with another with only 2 channels. Overall it is dated and needs a massive refurbishment.

Good but hard to judge accuratly
judging the service isn't easy because o all the covid stuff but because the hotel was shutting down a lot f services weren't done as well as they could because they were laying off staff and basically shutting down areas of the hotel. All in all under normal circumstances I think this hotel would be really good to stay at and I think I would probably recommend it but I wouldn't rate my experience here as highly as i did their sister hotel the San Anton

It's a pretty basic hotel, really looks like it's still the 1980's and in need of a facelift, but the staff are good and the cleanliness & servicing of the room was excellent.

It was dirty, outdated, and just disappointing. Very unhygienic, and the food was unappetising and the restaurant was filthy and unsuitable to eat in. There was rotten food in the luggage room, and the lighting was very bad - it was difficult to get across the courtyard to the room because there were no lights. The swimming pool was dirty, and the facilities looked very outdated. The lift was small and could barely fit 3 people. The actual room was very disappointing, there were stains on the bedsheets and the bath had hair and dirt in it. The windows and doors didn’t lock properly and we felt unsafe in our room. Overall, a very disappointing hotel.

Stay away from this dump
Absolutely terrible experience. It was 100 degree and no working AC. Very very loud non working AC. I asked for a different room and was told all rooms were the same. I left for a tour when I returned the AC was leaking some black stuff and some AC parts had fallen out. I demanded a new room. Received another room and no AC unit working their either. Stay far away from this dump.

The hotel was within walking distance of the Bugibba square and was opposite the street of a great dive centre. Unfortunately the hotel room had dirty sheets, the room wasn’t cleaned at all during our stay, we had to ask for clean towels at reception which you get handed and no one collects the dirty ones. The area it is in looks less than desirable and we were warned to take our valuables with us to the dive centre, especially as there was no room safe and the key system at reception to prove its your room doesn’t actually get enforced. The help desk for tours and local knowledge was useful and when they are not there the sign says ask reception. Unfortunately reception just say ask the help desk when they are back. A couple of others we dived with actually complained and left the hotel with their money back to get another hotel it was that bad for them. Overall not a great stay and not worth £65 a night. Don’t be fooled by the nice looking reception area as it conceals the other issues.

During 35 plus degrees weather, we was left with out any air conditioning for the entire holiday, some of the staff didnt seem to care. Due to the heat, i was unable to slep for the first 4 nights. The swimming pools are nice, but the showers and toilets leading to them are filthy The lift next to my room was broken so had to walk up and down 63 steps every time i wanted to go anywhere

The air conditioning didn’t work, portable one they provided leaked water from it. Rooms were not cleaned everyday. Staff were moody, only friendly staff members were the maintenance staff. The room was dirty. I paid for an apartment and got a room. The shower and toilet were horrible. Breakfast was not cooked properly.

Best bits is its very near beach loads of nice shops. Easy to get anywhere from bus terminus along road . Not so good is air con not working ,widow catches broke and some windows unsafe to open .tv had no remote and the bed linen was dirty with someones blood ,towels not cleaned for days and missing and cracked crockery in appartment. Staff on reception were very pleasant as too were the staff in the bar and cleaning lady. Badly in need of a refurb and some tlc. You do get what you pay for. It didnt stop us enjoying our holiday .

We did not get to stay at the hotel. On arrival they had "bad news" for us. I have a disability and our room was on the top (6th floor) and the lifts were broken (I am on crutches as have a disability). They had to move us to their "Sister" hotel - the St Anton Hotel in Bugibba. Our holiday had now been downgraded :-( The St Anton - avoid like the plague! Almost nothing worked nor were they in any hurry to fix anything or offer a sincere apology or compensation. No tea/coffee making facilities (but they will give you just the kettle and a cup if you raise the issue). We did not get the fridge till half way through the holiday which also did not work very well. A telephone in case you needed assistance (except none of them worked) nor did they fix them. Full of Spanish students that ran riot in hotel every night, shouting/screaming 4am every morning waking us up and they did nothing about it nor would they evict them, like any DECENT hotel would have done. Hotel did not have enough bedding for the hotel so didnt always get replaced/changed. Was located in part of Bugibba that looked like Beirut! Breakfast was VERY limited/basic and the "meats" on offer were uncovered and FLIES everywhere..so you would not have the food anyhow. :-(

There is a procedure to follow and the staff advise guests about it. The first step is to go to the police station... If guests don't do that, the remaining aspects to such a case cannot be followed.

It is central for bars and restaurants (only a couple of minutes walk away) and for the bus station as well. it is quirky being made up of 2 halves with a pool in the middle. it's on a slope like all of Malta so you go in on the 3rd floor for reception which is at the back of the hotel and the front is a sort of ground floor back entrance. Try it and see. Very friendly staff. Buffet breakfast quite adequate but it can get a bit busy at times.

Do not trust the pictures on the website
This had to be the worst experience of my life.Firstly we were given the wrong room and after 10 days of arguing with no outcome we were forced to call the ministry of tourism to sort it out, only then did they give us a slightly better room which was filthy from day 1 we even had to buy our own broom to sweep the floors because the hotel staff obviously know nothing about cleaning Our bed sheets were never changed in the 3 weeks we stayed in our UPGRADED room and we had to keep asking for towels because the cleaners would take them and not change them with fresh. I can go on and on about this hotel including the workers coming in to repair the bathroom ceiling while my family slept, or the ants covering the entire floor in the bedroom & i will never forget the aircon being turned off during the day (which they think we did not notice). I am 38 years old and i have never been on vacation in my life so this was to be something i would never forget, I would like to thank you for making that possible you will never see me or my family at this hotel ever again and i will be sure to tell everybody i know about my experience. Thankfully we have moved to another hotel which has everything that was promised IN THE PICTURES BE WARNED STAY AWAY

We booked a studio room for 2 nights bb bases , On the website room look very nice and welcoming but unfortunatlly our room no 1507 was totally different , dirty tiles all over old furniture some of it was broken old fashion bathroom. Telephone out of order , AC system next day was also out order we complaint and it was repalced with a portable mobile AC we had to move it from room to another this was not comftable at all ! Indoor pool was also out of order , the out door pool it is not as it looks in photo , it is very small for the size of Hotel, very shellow aprox 1.3 meter deep. freezer in fridge was full of ice we could not use it. the last thing room service on the next day was not given we also complaint but this with no luck at all, we had to re do our beds, clean and use dirty towel. I fully not recomend this hotel to any one this was bad experience for us. we also did a complaint in Expedia customer support on 14.08.18 but we did not receive any feed back until now

As people can see, the furniture is not old, it's new. You were given an studio and the staff would have ben more than willing to help you defrost the freezer, if that was a problem. As advised on your keycard, cleaning is done every other day. When you are in a hotel, whichever one it is, there are certain procedures and rules to abide by. We are always, none-the-less, open 24 hours a day to help all our guests and try to resolve their qualms.

Central hotel with a pool
It is what you pay for. Hotel is close to the centre of town, the pool is pretty decent, rooms were clean enough but basic. The air conditioning unit in our room leaked which may or may not have affected the shower pressure which varies from a trickle to nothing at all from the cold tap! Did ask at reception 3 times to have it fixed. A couple of the staff were super helpful and tried their best however the others border on useless! For the majority of the week we had to shower sitting down as raising the shower head stopped the water! Had the shower actually worked would probably have given the hotel a slightly higher rating!

Good location, run down hotel.
This hotel is misrepresented. The pool shown in the online ad for the hotel shows a pool that is NOT part of the hotel. It has in fact been annexed and is now part of a residential care home and the only pool the hotel has is a small children's pool. Listed as a 3* but more like a 1* hotel.There were no hospitality trays in the hotel rooms only in the studios. The bar/restaurant next to the pool played very loud music all day and despite frequent requests to turn it down by both the staff and residents carried on doing so. The hotel was also infested with cockroaches.Finally the online ad stated that the indoor pool was also available for use when it was actually closed for maintenance throughout my stay., hugely disappointing.

Sorry that you didn't like Malta's climate, which does have negative aspects, it has to be said. The 300 days of sunshine, however, have many advantages, so getting out and about, not inside a room with a pool, suits most people during the summer. That's why we take the opportunity of servicing the indoor pool during the summer months. We liaise with websites as much as possible to have the hotel represented properly, though you may have been unlucky. It's best to double check upon social media to get a full picture of how things are. Have a great autumn and winter, 2018

Cheap and cheerful is what I paid for, however what I received was an additional holding deposit because even though I proved on email and online banking I had paid for my stay, the reception staff were not at all l helpful and made me pay an additional deposit untill they could confirm with Expedia in the morning. I then spent the night in a extremely dated and hot hotel room as the air conditioning only blew out hot air, coupled with nosey neighbours around the pool, in the corridors, I decide to move hotel the next day and didn’t bother to stay for the 2 nights I’d paid for. Safe to say with the lack of service and poor rooms, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel nor stay there again. I hope somebody reads this because I’m not at all happy with my experience, infact im totally dissatisfied!

There was (unfortunately) a fault in the system that normally forwards information to the hotel, hence the delay. The reception staff merely took the necessary an precautionary action. Ultimately it was to the general benefit of guests because avoiding losses keeps the prices low. Sorry you had to go through that and hope, in hindsight, you can empathise with the reasoning. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we thought we had booked a twin room but it was actually a massive apartment, very good value. Clean and service is fine, it’s never going to be a 5 star luxury hotel but it’s hood value for the money, would recommend. Breakfast is standard - not great.

I was notified when I paid for the Hotel that my room had 3 beds and so expected it to be a fair size - it had 2 beds and was only adequate to comfortably accommodate one person. Lighting was dim it was cold with no heating and it was impossible to shower without wetting/flooding the bathroom floor because of the small water-retaining-tray.The choice of food and presentation was less than adequate.I paid the same rate the week before in the Santana for much better conditions.

The once great Hotel
On arrival I was asked to pay my full room cost. I produced paperwork from Expedia showing that full payment had already been made. After one hour (3 am) I agreed to pay 100 Euro as a deposit until the next morning. At 12 noon the next day I approached reception staff who apologised for the mix up and told me that my 100 Euros would be repaid into my account within three to five days. On checking my bank account the next day I discovered several debits had been made using my card details. I immediately contacted my bank who stopped the card and refunded the payments after investigation. Hotel Staff at all times were courtious and friendly. On checking the windows in my apartment, I discovered that none had working catches fitted. I mislaid my key and had to pay 25 Euros for the lock to be changed - as informed by reception staff. I later found the key and discovered that the lock had not been changed, just a duplicate issued. My 25 Euros was returned to me on checking out. The Hotel overall could do with some upgrading and repair. The staff on the other hand were great.

We were not happy with the rooms we were shifted three times to different rooms because one door to the room did not close and also the bathroom, The water in the kitchen was hot in both the hot and cold taps, The stove did not work when turned on the power turned off, so they changed our room. The second room was also no good water leaking from the celling air con faulty, we had cockroaches running around and my wife and daughter were bitten many times and red spots were covering there body the manager got one of the cleaners to spray the room ,we spent 150.00 euros on medications after that we found it was bed bugs so I sprayed the mattress and put them out side on the balcony I the reported this to the manager and he said you must change the room again, the third room was better he then gave us a dinner voucher for the rest of our stay
