Great....except for the cockroaches.Posted Sep 15, 2008
Nice place, shame about the occasional visitors in the bathroom.

Kan absolut rekomenderaPosted Jun 15, 2008 on Hotels.com
Enkelt men praktiskt, har allt och passade oss tre vuxna som gjorde ön en vecka. Trevlig personal. Nära allt; både bad, bussar, shopping, restauranger och det genuina Malta.

A decent Hotel!Posted Apr 9, 2008
I don't know if we were just lucky based on the reviews but if your looking for nothing fancy, just a decent room for a week or two with friends this is great. Our room was big, everything worked fine, the staff were friendly, i cannot seriously think of much against it, just that the bathroom had no lock on (which was not a major problem). The pool area was not that clean and things were closed but then again we went in winter and we did't intend to use it all anyway. Paceville is close and nightlife in the area is amazing and for what we needed this hotel served its purpose really well.

Basic and cheap but goodPosted Apr 9, 2008
The manager and two deputy managers were great, even watched footy with them, close to everything, supermarkets, buses(a couple of minutes away) and big room, basic, clean and comfortable.

More than value for money in the centre of St Julian'sPosted Oct 17, 2007 on Hotels.com
The Dean Hamlet is an interesting hotel. It clearly caters for the backpackers of the world, but the rooms are really well equipped - considering the cost and location this is a grat place to stay - basic comforts all covered.

You get what you pay forPosted Mar 2, 2007
This is a great, cheap place for anyone who doesn't mind a bare bones room and a bar in the front yard. However, if you are looking for a place to relax, this is not the one for you. St. Julians is so small that you can walk to the beach and to the nightlife from pretty much anywhere.

cats and dogsPosted Mar 1, 2007
this place has air con!(the window fell out the first night)we were not told that anything would be closed in the complex ie bar, games room, gym, swimming pool had spoon, rusty bottle tops and dirt at bottom.other pool had bricks at bottom ,outside toilet had poo in, looked like it had been there all year as did lots of fag ends around pool area, the toilet in our room leaked, and the constant barking of the dogs next door day and night was intolerable.i could go on but i dont want to remember anymore the holiday outside the complex was good we have been to malta a few times and its people are great as is the history

Not impressed, just the indispensable necessity.Posted Feb 23, 2007
Because of the 2* I was not wondering something special. It was worthing the money that we gave with no complaints-was very cheap as you know. Marginal clean & equipped. I do not recomend it for everyone who want;s luxury staying.
