Lovely hotel with great outside pool facilities!Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: The pool area and beach club with water sports. Plenty of space, clean and never felt overcrowded. Attentive staff and lots of sun beds, umbrellas etc
Cons: The rooms need some upgrading especially the carpets, old and musty smelling needs marble flooring! Don't like automatic pricing fridges!
Location: Lovely seaside hotel near to the main populated area. Close to nightlife of Malta but without the noise! Goog transport links, buses, ferries etc.
After a tricky start ( didn't get the room I had hoped for! ) and after looking at several rooms we did then get a lovely room. Excellent location in Malta, close to lovely bays, restaurants, shops etc. but equally quiet within the extensive pool/ marina area. Nice layout throughout the hotel with lots of ameinities and nice touches. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't eat much in the hotel but the poolside food and drinks were good if pricey! Get a sea view on a higher floor it's worth it!

Loved it,Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Location, pools, staff, generally very comfortable.
Cons: Quality of restaurants and choice of food around the pool area.
Great location, fantastic pool area with sunbeds galore, beautiful view from our balcony. Staff were fantastic and could not have been more helpful. Steer clear of the restaurants as a far superior quality is available in local restaurants at a fraction of the price. The extortionate price of food and beverages was the only element to let this hotel down; not a problem if the quality is outstanding but that certainly was not the case.

BEST EVER!Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: The facilities were tremendous and the breakfast is a work of art!!
Cons: Children were regularly left unsupervised in the jacuzzi , shouting and misbehaving and this sort of put a dampener on our whole experience.
Location: A visit to Mdina (the silent city) is a must. Golden Sands beach is terrific to spend a day there and as the name implies, the sand is really golden.
We have stayed at the Hilton, Malta, for the past 4 years and each visit seems to be even more magical than the time before. I cannot single out one member of staff for their friendliness and their willingness to make our stay as comfortable as possible, as they were all aspired to this level. We cannot wait to return again next year.

Rubbish Executive SeaviewPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The pool and food
Cons: Reception check in and club lounge
Location: Hated the location built up and ugly
Worst Executive Seaview and Club Lounge ever stayed in, basic on everything, Seaview looking at rooftops and other balconies, no Complementary water in the room, lounge only served soft drinks until 6pm, no lunchtime or daytime snacks available in the lounge, would have saved a fortune if selecting a standard room and buying drinks and food at the bar, food was the saving grace at this 3 star at the most hotel with a 5 star pool area only.

Good hotel, excellent staff.Not for kids.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Good hotel but lacking in atmosphere. One mediocre bar but nowhere to really meet people. No music round the pool and boring for kids, kids are tolerated. No kids communal area and no one responsible for helping kids to meet eachother.Grt location, near nightlife but not too near loud bars etc.Reception staff very helpful and pool manager, Martin was fantastic.

Super hotel. Wonderful staff. Definitely greatPosted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Location. Staff. Food. Room facilities. Bathroom.
Cons: Maybe a few subtle organised daytime and evening activities. Quiet background music around the pool. I don't want an animation team screaming though.
Booked the executive room and it couldn't have been a better choice. Not only is the room superior, the exec room comes with added benefits of drinks, (snacks etc add selected times) during the day between 7am-11pm. This can be a huge saving considering buying drinks alone in a 5star hotel can add up substantially during a stay for the whole family. This is a fantastic hotel. If I had a tiny gripe then the lack of any music around the pool or lack of any activities apart from aerobic classes in the gym area would be it. There are still children around but nothing organised so don't think you will be palming them off all day.
