Convenient and quiet.Posted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Close to Manoel Island were we were visiting.
Cons: More staff at peak eating times and better organised dining area.
Location: Close to the marina and only a short bus ride to Valleta.
The Hotels location is good only a short bus ride to Valleta. The first thing we noticed was the small lift, only really room for 2 people and 2 pull along cases. We were on the 4th floor so needed the lift when we had baggage. The dining area was not well laid out with queues forming quickly for tea coffee and juice. We stayed Thursday to Saturday morning. Friday evening there was only 1 member of staff to take care of setting and clearing of tables, and as the dining area was not big enough, there was the obvious problem of people waiting to have tables cleared. The food was fairly good and the set buffet was well attended. The bed was firm but comfortable but the curtains were thread bare. All in all it did the job for a couple of nights but for a week or 2 week holiday we would upgrade.

OK if you get lucky with your roomPosted Aug 22, 2013
we booked four rooms at this hotel and while three were of a good standard one was a very cold dark basement room that the guest felt was totally unacceptable.

not a 4 star hotelPosted Aug 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very poor hotel, stayed in August for 6 nights, the air conditioning did not work very well so the room was boiling hot, the bed consisted of a sofa bed ! Did not have its own car park, so having to drive around every night trying to find a space at the side of the road to park the car. No shower in the bathroom only a shower attachment in the bath (who wants a bath when its 35 c outside and 30 c in the room?). Avoid.

Awesome location and great staff.Posted Jul 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
The location of the hotel is awesome. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great as well. Its an older hotel so there is some maintenance needed. Essentially it was in line with the cost. No wifi in rooms, cleaning could be done a little better.

Good value for moneyPosted Jul 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel was a good european 3* hotel. The staff were very helpful, internal room was of a good size and quiet. The breakfasts were plentiful including cooked items. The pool and sunbeds were good (as it was so hot), but more umbrellas for shade would be useful. The view from the top floor bar/restaurant was lovely overlooking the harbour and valletta. I would use this hotel again.

Great locationPosted Jul 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
I have just arrived back from a four night stay at the KN, overall me and my partner had a fantastic time, however I think that all depends on what type of attitude you have when you're away. Its relatively easy to find faults with the hotel if you're looking for them, however the ones we noticed were that they need to redo their lift, they need to get safety deposit boxes that actually work and should really update their claims as to what you get at breakfast as there were never any omelettes or tomatoes or pastries to be found and the staff were rather slow to actually refill the food. The good points that we enjoyed most though were the views on top of the hotel, gorgeous at any time of the day, the pool was fantastic as you could go at any time of the day a easily get two sun beds sitting together and it was lovely and private and also the location, Sliema is a nice place but I couldn't recommend strongly enough to get the bus and explore st. Julian's and st.pauls bays as they are better for a greater variety in bars and restaurants. Overall I would say come to this hotel if you're happy with the price and want to do a wee bit o travelling, but if it's quite expensive for your budget I would go somewhere else.

The hotel didn't look like anything from the pictures on internet. The airconditioning simply does not work and the hotel staff wont budge despite our pleas to either fix it or change our room. It was too hot in Malta and the room with out airconditioning was Sufocating to say the least. I would have prefered to sleep on the floor only if i could get a fan in that hot and humid weather.

Good location and very helpful staffPosted May 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the bus stop (bus system in Malta is clean, convenient and inexpensive) and a 10 minute walk from the water taxis and various tour starting locations. The staff was extremely friendly and was willing to above and beyond to help guests. My only complaint is that the shower head in our room's bathroom was rather low in my opinion.

not like a 4 star in the USPosted Feb 11, 2012
Cons: TV & AC
Overall, ok, but not like a 4 star in the US. The AC was very dated and was difficult to operate; the TV stations were mostly not in English; you can only use the wireless connection in the lobby of the hotel.
