Needs a lot of workPosted Jun 10, 2014
Not a great hotel to stay in for the price they are asking. Had lots of issues with the rooms and some of the staff were unhelpful. Had a cockroach in the first room so very quickly got moved.

Ideal location to be in SliemaPosted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Everything you need in a hotel. Staff who obviously care. A full hotel reflects customer satisfaction.
Cons: Wi-fi in the rooms would be nice but not far to go to reception or the first floor facility.
Location: Sliema has plenty going for it and ideally situated for getting round that side of the island and especially the Grand Harbour.
This was a relatively late booking, for a one night stay. Thanks to Expedia, this turned out to be an excellent choice. Value for money. Very comfortable bed with good room & bathroom facilities. Rounded off with a good breakfast. We may well come back here in the autumn for a week or so.

Good location of hotel easy access to bus routesPosted Mar 8, 2014
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Everything except the staff.
Location: Approx 200 yards from sea front on a slight gradient not too far to get to Sliema ferries or shops.
The staff were brilliant but personally this hotel was not a 3 star as advertised. There was no bar until 6p.m. Therefore any refreshments required in the day had to be attained outside the hotel. In our room there were no chairs only a couple of stools. The hotel was advertised as having two lounges with TV'S plus a TV in the bar, TV in only one lounge and bar did not open until 6PM.

Value for moneyPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Oblignig staff , situation, value for money
Cons: Breakfast was chaotic. Situation of buffef was not ideal as it soon became crowded. There was plenty of choice but it was all luke warm, including hot
Location: Convienient for buses, but don't try to go to Valetta on a Sunday, none of the buses stopped in over an Hour. Plenty of places to eat.
We recently stayed at the Holte Plenva and would say that it was good value for money. it was very busy because a choir from Norway were ataying there. The hotel was well situated for buses etc.

Good hotel in quite nice locationPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Easy to find hotel, good location, kind staff, fridge and kettle in the room.
Cons: Wi-Fi available only at reception, could be a noisy during night because of young people parties or due to construction works nearby. Old furniture.
Location: Do the shopping in The Point mall or Plaza mall located nearby, try to amazing local dishes in restaurants, just swim and take it easy.
Have a nice stay in the hotel thanks to good location in Sliema (sea, shops, cafes - all is quite close, just in walking distance). The personal was pleasing and the room was good. There is an elevator in the hotel. Breakfast was good, including hot dishes. The hotel can offer you try their dinner also, for extra pay - don't agree with this, it's just waste of money. Better to just go down of the street and have a nice meal in some local restaurants. I liked the hotel, I would stay there again.
