Great apartment with a wonderful waterPosted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Location was great with a beautiful water view.
Cons: WIFI in the room would of been good however it was not a problem as it worked downstairs. I only had issues with the wifi as I was on the 7th floor.
Location: You could catch a bus anywhere around Malta. It is very safe to walk around at night. You can walk to St Julians, stay in Sliema etc. Easy excess.
The apartment had plenty of space for two or more people. Stunning water views, also had a small kitchenette with a bar fridge. Travelling around Malta was no problem at all as the bus stop is at the front of the building. Cafe down stairs is nice also for a snack. Perfect location with a huge balcony. Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was very clean and I had no issues at all. Plenty of restaurants around as well. i would come back for sure and stay there again.

Fun HolidayPosted May 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed the Cara Cafe at the bottom of the hotel as they had great service (special mention to Kevin) and tasty cakes. The location was very convenient with a bus stop right outside and surrounded by easy restaurants all within easy walking distance. There was bit of noise at night and we could hear people getting in and out of the lift. Also, the fridge in the room was rattling all night! The entertainment in the bar could be improved, maybe something a bit more lively as there weren't many people there. Also we didn't really like having to take the lift down to the ground floor then a different lift up to the 6th floor for breakfast as it took quite a lot of time. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Overall we had a goo time and enjoyed our stay so will be recommending the hotel to our friends.

Pretty good for cheapPosted Apr 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nice updated rooms. Awesome price and surroundings. Off season maintenance was going on. Updating rooms, once it's done it's gonna be nice. Lights are really glitchy.

Was only in the hotel for one overnight stay. Mattress due for a change, but wasn't too bad.

Horrible room, in size a single room with a double bed. Made to feel awful when a change of room requested, some surly staff. On a positive note, lovely cafeteria attached to hotel, with a particularly lovely lady called Olga, always made us feel welcome and was full of useful information.

Bay front location, friendly staff, good transportPosted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: Roof top bar and pool, lift, sugar puffs, showers, manager, friendly staff
Cons: Un-refurbished rooms tired but will be done up this winter.
Location: Excellent but can be noisy
Hotel has two sides. One has had a big refurbishment, the other side has had some rooms improved but awaits its turn for the rest. We booked a standard room. Make sure you book a COMFORT room, then you'll get a decent space. Manager was great when we complained and took time to explain things then sort us out. The difference in price is minimal. It is in an ideal location to get anywhere on the island. Bus outside the door. Very good restaurants, newsagent, supermarket etc all very close. Its location also means it is right in the bustling heart of Sliema with traffic (they like their horns), music (sometimes late at night), the odd fireworks display (gorgeous). Book a room at the rear without sea view and you'll get far less noise. We went for a view and slept surprisingly well. We found the busy town life so different to what we're used to that we accepted the noise. Breakfast was straightforward British fare and did the job.
