excellent hotel and great staffPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: food, staff, room size
Cons: showers need an old fashioned curtain! the 'posh' shower glass isn't sealed properly in the rooms, so they flood easily
Location: great local places to eat; Malta Mama etc. Best sights are futher away but hotel arranges fixed price taxis
Executive rooms have brilliant views over bay, and are spacious and comfortable. The use of the exec lounge is great, and the complimentary wine is a good way to get ready for dinner. Breakfast at both places is good, with good selection and quality. The exec lunge wins out int he end because although it has a smaller choice, it does better tea! Staff everywhere great. The only criticisms i could make are the loud music that may be playing if any weddings etc are on; and if you are at the italian or fish restaurants then this could spoil your night.

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Room was absolutely beautiful and the service we received was outstanding. The facilities and location of the hotel were beyond our expectations. We will be staying here on our next visit to Malta.

A truly 5 star experiencePosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Stunning views, Plenty if places to choose to lounge around beach and pool, Delicious food,
Location: Prefect beach holiday. Very near to Paceville for a fab night out
From the moment we stepped in to hotel everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Viktoria at the reception was delightful and did her absolute best to make our holiday memorable. Our room was upgraded to a Tower Room which was fabulous. I also received a complementary cake for my birthday. Anja near the pool side, was very nice and gave us lot of information about places in Malta we could visit. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. There’s no other place I would rather have celebrated my 30th Birthday. Can’t wait to get back!

Nice hotel in the centre of St Julian'sPosted Aug 15, 2014
Nice hotel. Not as luxurious as some 5 star hotels I have stead at. Staff were quite attentive. It's a real shame the internet was not complimentary in the room. Pools were great. Our 2 kids aged 6 and 9 loved it. Paulio's Restaurant was very nice although I was told it was full when we went initially only to find out this was not the case.

Nice Hotel but didn't start well!Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: The waiting staff
Cons: The hotels location wasn't the best, Room allocation and price of breakfast.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of the local bars, clubs and restaurants. the hotel has water sports on site
Didn't start well, arrived and was impressed with the hotel but was allocated a room overlooking the car park? After we quickly complained we were moved, however the booking clearly stated SV but the reception staff didn't go overboard and apologize or offer anything for the mistake..... got the feeling this happens a lot as someone else was complaining when we got down to reception. We felt the hotel was not interested unless you were a VIP or paid for an executive room etc. After sorting out the room fiasco the room was good, great view of the sea, large, clean and spacious. The waiting staff were really nice and professional and overall we had a pleasant holiday.

Excellent Hotel located in the St Julians areaPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: The facilities for all age groups including the three pools and very easy access to the sea made it great for us water lovers.
Cons: Nothing that comes to mind
Location: Excellent location if you are young and want to be close to the clubs and party scene.
My wife and my daughter and her friend had a wonderful experience in Malta. The Westin Dragonara had all the facilities we could have hoped for and more!!! Located in the bustling part of St Julians and provided great access to all parts of Malta and Gozo. All the staff made our stay worry free and were relaxed but professional at all times. Well done Westin Dragonara and all who work in the hotel.
