“Totally over rated”
The hotel is definitely not 4 stars and all it's facilities were not nice at all. The location is the best thing about it. But the breakfast buffet was gross. You can find better breakfasts for cheaper in the neighborhood. The workout facility is one small room with broken stuff in it. We didn't use any of it, except the space to workout. The pools are small. The Jacuzzi was cold, perhaps broken. The sauna is not great and is for like 4 people tops. Overall, a cheap place. Don't eat there. Oh and the air conditioner in all the rooms barely works -- won't keep you cool.
“Quiet and Relaxing”
The Windsor Hotel is located a block away from the beautiful boardwalk of Sliema, Malta and only 15 minutes from the Sliema Ferries area and the water taxi to the capital city of Valletta. The Sliema area is quiet, relaxed, and beautiful. Walking along the boardwalk is a wonderful activity. The Hotel is very clean and restful, near to the sea and in a good, quiet location. The rooms are spacious (for European hotels) and are very comfortable. The real gem of the hotel is the restaurant (named "The Corner Restaurant") which offers full English breakfast (buffet-style) and a full dinner (also buffet-style). The half-board option is definitely worth the cost as the food is very well prepared. I would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors to Malta for its location, cleanliness, comfort, and restaurant.
