Very friendly helpful staffPosted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Get rid of the piddly extras for everything - even if the overall price is a bit more.
Location: It was quite near the town, but the walk back palled after a week. You could find a decent restaurant - a brilliant Bulgarian one for example nearby.
It was basic, but not what we are used to for a four-star hotel. Just about every "extra" had to be paid for: daily rate for safe key, pay to sit at swimming pool, pay for wifi (except in the lobby where reception was mediocre) etc. The walk to and from the beach/main town was a good ten minutes and the return mainly uphill. Whilst we were there, there were lots of school classes/big groups and that also got irritating at times. The breakfast buffet was good and there was entertainment - of a sort - almost every night in the bar, whereby anyone with their own karaoke machine was allowed (employed?) to perform. They were very accommodating with the check-out time.

Get what you pay forPosted Jul 20, 2014
Cant really complain when you pay so little for a holiday. We really enjoyed our time out there. Pool is the best part of the hotel, had alot of fun in there.

Hmmm, getting the little things right helps alot!Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Rooms were clean.
Cons: Air conditioning, attention to detail. Knowledge of the large group bookings, warning not to go to relax!
Location: Transport links are good to get away from the place.
OK, yes, its a cheap hotel and you can probably make a good assessment of what you're going to get based on that, but still, some things are easy to get right, no matter the price of the hotel. This is definitely NOT a four star hotel. First, the room was clean, bed comfortable enough, while there was an air conditioning unit in the room, and it did appear to be working, it was completely ineffective and I had to request a fan for the room. No water pressure in the bathroom sink, shower head holder would not stay in position and kept sliding down the pole. Air conditioning throughout the hotel is poor, even in the communal areas. Toilets in the main reception area, throughout my stay there was never any soap in the bathroom, hand dryer not working, broken toilet seat that was never fixed. But, by far the worst thing about this hotel was the incessantly noisy, rude and large group of adolescent students that appear to have taken over every corner of the hotel. To be quite honest, they ruined what I hoped would be an opportunity to relax for a few days. I don't know who taught them manners but they seemed to think the entire place was hired out just for them, shoving, pushing, shouting and generally being obnoxious. Forget about relaxing at the pool as it sounded like a thousand playgrounds had descended on the area. Next time, I'll do a bit more research, look for adults only, or spend an extra couple of hundred, as this was a bit too cheap and cheerful
