Not bad but mistakes made

Pros: The pool and the room
Cons: Liaising with guests about what is going on and sorting out room service. Also giving 2 pool towels per room, not 1.
Location: Managua is not really a tourist place. However down by the lake there is the cathedral and palace and gardens. Use local cabs only $6. Walk 1.5 hours
Stayed 2 nights, room very nice, pool beautiful, but on valentines day afternoon all subnets and hammocks were removed about 1.30pm and they started to set up the tables etc for the evening evening dinner. No notice of this was apparent and no one came to let us know what was happening. We used room service for dinner bothnights because of the events going on. The first night was fine, but the second was a disaster. One of our meals turned up, but the other didn't, tried to find out from room service but they weren't answering, so my partner went down to reception and was told that the starter he wanted wasn't available, so apparently that meant no meal was delivered, and they didn't bother to tell us that no food was coming for him, so he didn't get to eat that night. Another issue is the free shuttle. We booked with Expedia and it clearly states free shuttle, but we had to prove this several times when booking to get to the airport. Everyone other than Expedia booked were charged $10. So if you book with Expedia make sure you have the paperwork to prove it. Other than these issues, it is a pleasant hotel, although the drinks are a bit pricey in the bar.

Great it was very clean the buffet great the view and the bed very soft and clean but the upgrade was to much to up grade that's the only thing I did like I allways like to up grande the rooms but it was good

This is a very nice hotel. However, it is not convenient to the airport for early morning flights to your next destination.

Stayed night before early departure from Sandino airport. Shuttle was included and croissants available in lobby at 4:30 am. Be sure to cpntact hotel by email and phone prior to arrival to coordinate shuttle pickup at airport.

Nice hotel, great facilities

Pros: Great facilities
Cons: Hotel staff may be a little more friendlier.
Location: Not much anything near by. You will need a cab to go anywhere (expensive from the hotel - compared to outside)
Far from everything but good enough to keep you comfortable. Great facilities, swimming pool, steam room, gym (small but with everything you might need to keep your workout routine). Kyoto restaurant is a plus +. Comfortable rooms, everything seems new. Free WIFI.

Wonderful time. Taxis available for a reasonable price to see what there is to see in Managua. Great breakfast buffet, wonderful Japanese restaurant. I will surely stay there again.
