It had great atmosphere it is not modern but well decorated. The food was good. At night it has very romantic ambience. Minor negatives property is hot ac only in rooms; the other things is cats run free on property. No problem if you are a cat lover. They were harmless.

convenient location close to the airport. Breakfast was not included with my booking, not really sure why? $30 for 2 breakfasts is a little steep IMO. Air shuttle service should be free, as it so close to the airport….$5 per person seems like a money grab. Clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty

Expedia double charged me, had me waiting for thirty minutes came back did not give me receipts. Charged me two knights and charged for only one knight. They mentioned to.me asking for my refund. They mentioned i checked out.at 4 pm and i said show me the camaras. Went into getting the 2nd charged dismissed or to credit my card back. The front clerk was not helping at all, went and got the manager mentioned to me they never deal with expedia only through a calling center. Scum bag manager gave me the boot not trying to help me at all.not into cuatomer service but he should showed more hospitality towards me aince i go there regularly. Sad to say i wont be in there hotel any time soon.

Hello, You came two weeks later asking for money to front desk as if you made the reservation directly with us. You made your reservation and paid to Expedia for two nights, if you left early, the hotel cannot refund you. You should have called Expedia to ask them if your reservation permits changes, cancellations or refunds in the appropriate time window.

It’s ok but if I wouldn’t come back
First thing to notice is that there were many cats inside the hotel around the pool and the restaurant. If you don’t like cats at all like me, you would be very annoyed. The cats beg for food and drink from the pool. It’s disgusting. The room was not bad, but you can hear a lot of noise from the hall, when people are talking or cleaning. It’s a lot of noise that if you are talking inside the room it feels like you need to raise your voice. The restaurant food was ok, but not the best. Although the tostones con queso were amazing. On the good side, the breakfast buffet food was amazing. The front desk was nice and quick. And in general it feels like a safe place.

Hotel by itself is really good. But we did not sleep all night because some people were having party by the pool. Also there werr LOTS of mosquitos in the room. When we told the staff she just said oh no..got bit a lot by mosquitos all night hopefully we won't get dingue.

the hotel was very nice - the food was great and service was amazing and attentive - i left a sweater there and emailed directly after wards and let them know i left it on chair in bedroom . i never got response and when i went back they of course never had it - so great hotel great food just know that you won’t get back and forgotten items

The room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff was excellent, except for Scarlett at the front desk. She needs to be more polite with the guests and to improve her attitude. Other than that, the staff at the breakfast, especially Roberto, Rosaura and the other ladies were excellent. We will definitely stay at Camino Real again!!

The staff are lovely but they don’t volunteer information; you have to ask a lot of questions from some of them to get information on things like WiFi, food options, when the pool closes. They really need to get rid of the Macaw Parrots! Come on! It’s 2023…exploitation of animals is terrible for business, not an attraction. Ironically, after saying this…Best part about staying here is the family of kittens and cats that come to say hi! They aren’t exploited, in fact you can see some of the staff’s frustration with them around but I loved it. The staff in the bar/restaurant were awesome. I was given a room right off of the noisiest area of the hotel when I was only getting a few hours of sleep before having to be at the airport early when there was a major celebration going on in Managua so most of th the hotel guest were very loud and stayed up late. These are things they don’t think about when assigning rooms. If you’re given room 301, I would consider staying elsewhere; you can hear everything everyone says while having dinner or late night drinks.

My experience with the hotel’s check-in process left much to be desired. Despite a smooth booking through Expedia, there was a notable disconnect between the reservation details and what transpired at the hotel. The check-in seemed disorganized, and the staff appeared unaware of certain specifics outlined in my Expedia reservation. This discrepancy created a frustrating start to my stay, highlighting a communication gap between the booking platform and the hotel. Improved synchronization between Expedia and the hotel’s systems would greatly enhance the overall customer experience.

Mediocre service almost made us miss our flight
Service was mediocre - we booked this hotel to use the free shuttle to the airport but that doesn't start until 7am so we had to pay for a private taxi instead since we had to leave at 5:30am. That taxi was 15 minutes late despite being pre-booked by front desk and was way too small for our group / luggage. When I booked the hotel, I picked the breakfast option but the breakfast doesn't start until 6am so was after we had to leave. I asked the front desk if they could refund the additional money for breakfast and they flat out refused. It's fine for Managua but next time I'll look around to other hotels. The service for this one wasn't great.

The staff remembers our names and are super friendly and accommodating. My husband left his backpack with all his travel belongings in the restaurant. When we returned from shopping the staff was waiting for us to give it back. Will stay here every time.
