“Love at first sight!”

A friend mentioned that they always stay at this hotel when flying in and out of the country. It was the perfect place for us to spend our last two days in Nicaragua and was nicely situation just outside the Managua city limits. It was probably the nicest hotel with the best service that we'd ever stayed in and the price was so reasonable and included breakfast and free airport shuttle service and shuttle service to other locations in the area for a small fee. The room was so comfortable and we really like the contemporary look and feel. The size of the hotel was perfect as an intimate boutique hotel. The food was incredible and we enjoyed a free "welcome" beverage upon our arrival. We had no problem checking in early and the staff bent over backwards to service our every need, including printing our boarding passes for us. In the states this hotel experience would've easily run $250. a night. Not so in Nicaragua! We loved it!

“Great get away”

I have to say that from being greeted at the front door to the day I left it was great across the board. There was a Issues with Expedia notifying the hotel but the front desk took care of it and if they weren't honest i would have not known. Everyone there from bell hop to waiters to hotel staff was great and friendly. I had mentioned that I wondered what the other rooms looked like and the hotel staff opened up a few unoccupied rooms for me to see. They paid attention to what I wanted and when I wanted it. I ordered drinks out at the pool and sure enough Allen made sure my glass had fresh ice and was topped off. You get just enough personal attention to relax but not to much that there bothering you. I reserved a car one night and as we were driving my need changed without a hesitation the driver changed direction and brought me to were i needed to go with a smile and a thank you,at no time did I worry about anything or anyone. P.S the food was delicious GREAT GREAT FOOD... I will be back there my very next trip to Managua.... Wayne

“Two thumbs up!!!!”

This was a really great pick and warm welcome for my first time styaing and visiting NIcaragua. All the staff at the hotel were very professional and helpful throughout my week stay. The only thing I recommend is that you grab a hotel card and carry it with you becasue since the hotel is just a few years old alot of taxi drivers don't know where it is. Also the hotel has it's own taxi driver who was also very helpful, knowledgeable and great throughout my enitre stay.

“Don't think twice, this is a great place to stay!”

I only stayed at this hotel on my visit to Managua, but seeing the area and the other hotels from the outside or on pictures I would say this has to be the best place to stay in Managua. It is a boutique hotel with only 18 rooms each on designed individually. The staff is great, extremely friendly and provide high customer service. I was able to get a GREAT deal by booking online thru Expedia so definitely make your reservation online. They offered shuttle service to and from the airport to the hotel (25 min drive) included in your $10 hotel fee. Free wifi throughout the hotel. There really wasn't much to do walking distance, hotel is in a residential area off the main highway. But they offer hotel transportation to nearby areas. For $7 we where able to be driven to the main mall, Galerias and have a great dinner and entertainment. The pool is long and narrow just big enough to take a dip and refresh, hotel has restaurant with delicious food and bar area. Try to stay away from room 8, it is closest to the lobby and event halls so it can be noisy.

“Very nice hotel, just one flaw”

Very nice hotel in a very nice location. Small and boutique, but not lacking. Breakfast each morning was better than expected. Rooms were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only criticism of this location is their WiFi was horrible. I spoke with one of the managers about it and he promised to look into it. If they had their WiFi working well, this location would be perfect for business travelers as well as others.

“Great hotel”

My second time staying here while visiting Nicaragua on business. I really do like this hotel and it's friendly staff. One of my main concerns from my previous stay was the Internet. They took my concerns seriously and have made great strides towards improving it. Missed the breakfast buffet, but I think they just don't have it on some days. The breakfast options off the menu are good, so no problems there.

“Elegant oasis of calm in dusty, chaotic Managua”

This surprisingly beautiful hotel is off a busy and unattractive road south of Managua. It's modern, clean, elegant, spare, and very comfortable. The staff is attentive and caring, and the facilities are top notch. Our two-queen room had a living room and beautiful bathroom, muted natural light, and marble floors. The beds were comfortable, and the A/C ice cold (very welcome in Managua!) The restaurant is particularly good, and the food rivals that at the best restaurants in Nicaragua and in the United States. We had fish, chicken, and a vegetarian option, and all were superior, and the service was excellent. The outdoor pool is in a lovely private garden setting, and is clean and warm. It's long and thin, good for laps, with a very shallow shelf at one end for sitting on or playing with babies or toddlers. The location of the hotel makes it an odd choice if you'll be staying for more than one or two days, as there is nothing nearby and Managua isn't a great destination (the rest of the country is the reason to visit Nicaragua). But we met a couple who had spent their entire week-long vacation there and were very happy. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I'd stay here any time I was passing through Managua. The free airport shuttle is a deal, and there's a Hertz desk in the lobby, so you can pick up/drop off a rental car from the hotel, instead of at the airport.

“Great hotel for a family”

My wife and I have traveled all over the world and I consider the staff in this hotel among the friendliest, nicest and most capable I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. My wife didn't accompany me on this trip but I raved about the hotel and she is looking forward to staying there.

“Denise”

Hotel Contempo is a boutique hotel. The rooms are like staying a private spa. French chef and the staff is so extremely attentive. The first time I stayed, I parked my car in front. They called me and said they had to park my car in the private parking. They came to my room for the keys, parked and I retrieved my keys the next morning. Valet all the way. Fabulous!!! I stayed the first time by myself. I took my husband back for Thanksgiving weekend.
