Very safe and unique hotel

Pros: Unique - food was excellent!
We were there one night between flights. When we arrive we were met and quickly put into our room. We were tired and set outside in a very beautiful patio and had a very cold beer. Later a great dinner. The hotel was very quiet.

Cozy, clean and peaceful

Cons: The internet was bad in our room and did not reach to all common areas. Also, they should allow guests to exchange dollars for cordoba.
Excellent small hotel with a simple but beautiful design. Very clean and very safe.

Really nice place in a great part of town.

Very good. One of the nicest places we stayed. The only negative I can think of is that it said they had a business center. When I sat at one of their computers in what obviously WAS the business center at one time, the front desk person told me I couldn't be in there. I told him I just wanted to print boarding passes for our flight the next morning and he said I couldn't do it. I have been to much lower class hotels that would allow you to print boarding passes at the front desk. Overall though, it is a very nice hotel!

Good

It was cute, breakfast was great, but the rooms were extremely small and they charged an extra $30 to have more than one person in the room which wasn't clear on when I booked it.

Charged $25 USD for transportation from hotel to airport. A little excessive IMO.

Nice hotel, but noisy at night

Posted Jul 18, 2013
Pros: Gardens and pool area were very nice. Happy hour was a nice touch. Breakfast had some made to order items like omelets.
Cons: I had to use earplugs to avoid being woken up by loud knocking.
Location: Lot's of restaurants within walking distance. Supermarket nearby. In a safe area.
I liked the hotel and the area it was in. It was small and all rooms were right near the front. It had a nice pool and open area in back. The internal garden was pretty also. They had a free happy hour each night which was a nice touch. I ate several meals there and enjoyed the food. The only negative was there was loud knocking on the walls and ceiling from time to time that woke me up. It was not from other guests so I don't know what it was.

The hotel is located close to Managua center. Its is easy to get around to restaurants and bars from there. It's a small and quiet hotel. I have stayed several times for one night, and I will come back again.

Great oasis in the middle of Managua!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Los Robles. The rooms were clean & comfortable with a small patio just off the room. We definitely enjoyed the free happy hour wine & rum on the common area patio, too! The pool area is beautiful. We had a bit of a hard time finding the hotel (it doesn't jump out at you from the street & the sign is very small) and getting past the security gate (but we took that as a good sign). There's an on-site security guard who watches over the cars parked in front of the hotel. The area seemed safe enough to us - it looked to be mostly higher end residential and we enjoyed walking around several blocks near the hotel. The free breakfast consisted of some cold cuts of ham and salami, yogurt, cheese, fruit, and breakfast breads which satisfied us. They also offer an extended breakfast menu for about $6/plate.

Hotel Los Robles was a great place to stay while in Nicaragua! The staff was very attentive and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, the pool area was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. You can't go wrong!
