Boutique Character and CharmPosted Feb 12, 2014
We liked it so much we booked the best room for three weeks solid. Owners Tim and Andreas helped us with tours and taxis, baked a cake for my birthday and invited us to their colourful Chinese New Year party. It all made for a brilliant holiday choice.

Walking distance to Central Park, Great one nightPosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: Quietness/friendliness. The environment was very peaceful. Home like setting. The dog was a plus as we love dogs.
Cons: one more chair in the bedroom. as we only had one chair. should have two chairs.
Location: Within walking distance of Central Park. A must see. Great restaurants. lots of them. People whom are Roman Catholic lots of churches close by.
We had a great one night stay. Staff very helpful. Friendly. close to Central Park. Has lots of things to see and do. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Excellent Service and Location!Posted Dec 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had an incredible stay for 3 nights, the location was perfect and the breakfast was very good! Huge plus was a self service refrigerator that you can access anytime for water or beer and it was COLD. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with anything about Nicaragua. Would stay again.

Great small hotel away from noisy main street.Posted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: The staff and personal touches.
Cons: Some minor "sprucing up" would not hurt, but it might take away from the natural tropical feel of the place.
Location: It is within 3 blocks of the main tourist center of town, protecting you form the noise and commotion without isolating you from any desired activitie
If you are looking for a small, comfortable, quiet hotel with personality and the best type of information center service, La Islita is a great choice. The accommodations, which include wonderful full breakfasts, are more than one might expect. The staff is unquestionably friendly, warm and solicitous. It might be argued the hotel´s only drawback, however, is the facility itself needs some loving seasonal maintenance; i.e., tile floors could benefit from acid cleaning and fresh wall paint would add a little pop to the ambiance of the interior. All in all, however, Granada is an unexpected first visit and La Islita is even more so.

Exceptional VisitPosted Nov 6, 2013
Cons: They need to do a better job of dusting and washing the windows.
Our visit got off to a bit of a rocky start but the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. They arranged all of our tours. They always knew the best place to eat. Will definitely stay here again.

Comfy Cozy stay!!!Posted Oct 29, 2013
My stay at La Islita boutique hotel was so much more than I had expected. The hotel was clean, quiet and beautifully put together. I slept like a lamb because my bed was sooooo comfy! Breakfast (included) in front of their garden oasis was so relaxing! Tim and Andres were so warm and kind. They were very knowledgeable about the happenings in Granada and helped me with every question and need that I had during my visit. I can't wait for an excuse to go back. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Great for anyone!Posted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: Hot shower
Cons: I arrived quite late one night (2am) after going for drinks with friends and it took the gentleman a fair bit of time to answer the locked door.
Stayed here for 2 nights to meet friends who were travelling through Granada. The hotel is very peaceful and the staff were very chilled out and welcoming. Overall a really good experience.
