“Not great for our needs”

The room was small, the carpet appeared old, there was no coffee maker in the room... ( there was coffee available in the lobby!) although there was a microwave and small fridge in the room. Other guests arrived at 1:30am and set their car alarm with the horn blowing, conversed loudly in spanish by our door, and were apparently staying above us. They clomped up the stairs and were loud in the room until maybe 2:00am. When we arrived I did not notice an odor but the second and third day, after the room had been cleaned for us ( that was nice!)there was a STRONG smoke odor. We needed to get an air freshner spray which of course adds another odor.Apparently there are smoking rooms behind the room we had and the smoke was filtering in to the bath through the vents. The location had lots of noise from outside but was very convenient to shopping etc.
