Not a good hotel at all. More as a bed guest house

The hotel was ugly. Did not look at all as pictures showed. The room was more as of a bed guest house. The only good thing was the breakfast and service at the reception. I am glad we stayed only 1 night on our way to a better hotel in the Amazonas.

I was very disapointed with my stay at the Novotel Manaus. Basically, this hotel charged US prices for service, quality, and location far worse then in the US. The fares were ~3X the market rate just becuase of the brand name. My main issues were 1) The hotel had little service. I asked for money exchange, ATMs, restaurant recomendations and a map. They couldn't help me in any of them. 2) The room and hotel were 3 star quality. The air conditioner leeked water all over the floor, they maid never cleaned the room. 3) Location was horrible. It was near the industrial zone of Manaus, so you needed to take a taxi wherever you went, NOTHING was in walking distance.
