Older hotel, perhaps not worth the pricePosted Feb 26, 2014
Hotel was in a very central and convenient location for us, easy walking distance everywhere and parking facilities just next door. The room was small and the bed was tired. The mattress sagged and the pillows were old and worn. That said, the shower was powerful and hot and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was disappointed with the price I paid for the two day stay though and would probably look elsewhere next time.

Quiet stay with my wifePosted Feb 23, 2014
Location: Right in the centre of Chinatown, good access to mainline train station with a 10 minute walk and the various shopping centres.
We really enjoyed this hotel. I was on a business course and my wife came up to see Manchester for a very short stay. The hotel is central, clean and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Cost overall (I pay for myself as I am self employed) represented good value for the standard of accommodation. We enjoyed cocktails in the very plush bar downstairs and this was a real treat as we don't usually do cocktails. All it all, a very good time. I will rebook when next in Manchester.

Functional hotel for business travellersPosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and location
Cons: No sauna/steam room
Room was very clean and bathroom spotless. Not much of a view though. Good breakfast. Less expensive than Hilton Group and others with the same functionality

good hotel in centre of manchesterPosted Feb 10, 2014
Cons: Unfortunately the bedroom was cold and it wasn't until the day I was leaving that the window had not been firmly closed which had caused the draught.
Location: Location was good, the arena was close by as well as good shops, there is a big wheel but not much to see, so I didn't go on it.
Nice hotel in good location, friendly staff and nice room.

Nice hotelPosted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: The staff, they were very solicitous and it just made me feel welcome.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Arora. I arrived very early on a Sunday and they let me check in hours before the official check in time, as there were rooms available. Their concern for customer service was paramount. The restaurant was ok, not one I'd recommend.

Nice and Comfy hotel near all city attractionsPosted Jan 22, 2014
This is our first trip to Manchester and we are lucky to find Arora hotel on Price street that is close to all major city attractions. It is located next to China Town and Manchester Art Gallery. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs around with various kind of food. English Afternoon Tea in nearby Town Hall is highly recommended. In front of the hotel, there is free city shuttle bus #3 that will take you to Piccadilly train station, which in 20 minutes, the train will take you to Manchester airport. Convenience ,Cleaniness and Comfort are my requirement for a place to stay in the foreign city, Arora hotel no doubt meets all.

Overall rating - fab.Posted Dec 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very clean as was our room - it was serviced daily including fresh pillow cases, towels, tea and coffee making facilities. The service was fab - friendly staff, helpful, no waiting around. We used room service which we found a little over priced for the quality but it was nice, quick and friendly. We also used the hotel bar, myself once and my partner on two occasions - we enjoyed this facility, friendly bar staff, good offers, nice area. I did not see any signs for the health suite and nobody gave us any information about this facility and so we did not use it. Finally, the hotel was very close to Picadilly Station, the Arndale Centre and the metro link which we used to get to Salford Quays.
