“It was good”

I can not complane, overall it was a good stay. The only thing that was Not so great was how thin the wals were, so you could hear everything that went on from above and to the sides, and people got up early so i did to cause i could hear them.

“First Class Accomodations and Price”

“Home away from home”

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was nice and well cared for. There was always someone there to make sure things were refreshed and plentiful. The only negative is the walls are a little thin and you can hear your neighbor's TV, and the freeway noise at the one end of the hotel really loud. I am more sensitive than most to noise, but if I had it to do over I would ask for a room at the "quiet" end of the hotel. We would stay there again, though.

“Be careful, count your pillows...”

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel. After spending a comfortable night, went out and did some shopping. When we returned to the hotel, we found a note under our door from the manager advising that we were being held responsible for 2 missing pillows and that we would be charged for them if they were not returned. I immediately went to the front desk and offered to have him check my car (where else would I hide them?) an asked why I would have stolen 2 pillows on my first night when I was returning for a 2nd night! He said people take all sorts of things and they usually lose about 12 pillows a month. Maybe it is an employee issue??? I explained that I had 6 pillows when I checked-in but it seems that a room with 2 queen beds should have 8. How was I supposed to know? The manager said he would check with the night clerk from the previous evening and get back to me. This accusation upset my family and I and ruined our evening. We were advised later that we would not be charged for the pillows but it left a sour taste. I have worked for an airline for 20 years and stayed in many different hotels both for business and pleasure. This was the first time I was treated so rudely. The hotel is OK and the rates were fine but I strongly suggest that you ask the front desk to accompany you to your room when you check-in to make sure everything is where it is supposed to be.

“Where to stay in Concord”

Wasn't so sure when I booked my hotel room, but Best Western in Concord NH exceeded my expectations. We have family in the Concord area and visit often. A very nice hotel, convenient to 93 and downtown.

“Everything ok except...”

Two problems I had - finding hotel (called twice for directions, first time didn't get me there!) and the breakfast buffet was not the greatest. I didn't expect a huge choice but the eggs were a bit off in taste.

“good hotel”

A slight musty smell in our room, but a great value! The breakfast was good--making your own waffles is a good thing. And the room was quiet--we couldn't tell it was so convenient to the highway.

Area recommendations

I prefer downtown...being able to walk to the great shops and restaurants on main street is a treat.

“Highly recommended!!!”

This hotel was more than I expected. Everything was super clean even the elevator! The staff was friendly. My daughter loved the pool and hottub. The extra pillows on the bed (4 per bed!!!!) was wonderful. Very centrally located in Concord. It was also great to have access to a computer with internet and printer. (I used it to print directions to the space musuem) For the price paid it was more than a great deal. The breakfast in the morning was also more than I am used to. Make your own waffles (fresh from the waffle iron, not frozen) sausage, eggs, cereal etc... It was delicious. If you are in the area you can't go wrong with this hotel

“just what I thought”

Check in was fast and friendly. was a bit worried that we would hear a lot of traffic noise because it is really close to the interstate but we didn't hear a thing. the pool is a nice feature.

Area recommendations

Downtown Concord is a great place to walk and take in the diversity of the shops. They have a great record-yes I said record shop and a couple of local candy places. the state house is easy to walk to and lovely to visit.
