“For one night its OK, anymore beware”

This hotel is good for one night but anymore the shortcomings of this place stand out. The HVAC system doesnt seem to work right and the room is extremely dry and uncomfortable. The beds were not comfortable and being close to the airport is good but a long and costly taxi ride into Manchester.

The airport area is good for going or coming from Machester airport but not for anything else.

“Met our needs”

We needed a room for 3 adults close to the airport, and this hotel met our needs. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, and it was very tasty. The only things we would prefer are hotel wake-up calls and washcloths furnished. You have to fend for yourselves in these areas.

“Good choice at Manchester, UK airport”

I was impressed by the service, especially the personnel who pickup and drop off guests from the airport terminal to the hotel (a very short ride). The room was modern and spacious. The only drawback was the site of the toilet which caused any above average person to be wedged against the wall.

“One of the worst hotels of my life”

I have been traveling for over 40 years and this was one of the worst stays of my life. Basically, I was only able to get about three hours of sleep. It was a 90 degree day in Manchester the October day I arrived. The only method for cooling the room was a small open window that lacked a screen and of course allowed in all external noise; people celebrating as well as aircraft from the nearby airport. At 12:30 AM I went to the front desk and was informed that the air conditioning did not extend to my potion of the hotel. However, he told me that was not important because they actually turned off the air conditioning to the only portion served because of the noise it generated. The clerk did give me a fan that at least got some air moving. In my wanderings, I met two other couples that also could not sleep because of the heat. I can not image how hot this room would have been in June, July, or August. Perhaps a winter stay would work because there was a small heating unit in the room. The location and service were actually very good but the main reason for a hotel is how well you sleep through the night.
