Good value

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Modern amenities, staff, clean, location.
Cons: Room maintenance
Location: Bus route nearby is a plus
Near the bus route is a plus. A few things in the room needed repair. Modern amenities and clean. Downside was loud guests in the atrium at all hours of the night. Staff were quick to handle issues as well as any questions.

Nice Hotel

Posted May 3, 2014
Pros: Space in the apartments and view of the canal.
Cons: Staff on reception !
Location: no idea ! seems in the middle of nowhere but I am sure this is not the case.
Took ages to find no signage ! arrived in the poring rain with an 18th month old , found young man on reception in the middle of a phone call and completely ignored us until he had finished, a bit off putting ! Apartment was spotlessly clean and ideal with a small baby , cot provided was comfortable and rooms were great. It does tell you that the apartments are self catering but the takeaway food was awful although cheap. It would be nice if maps of the area were in the room listing local facilities as we had come from Somerset and had no idea where we were. Well done Manchester traffic wardens most friendly and helpful !

Friendly helpful staff nice rooms but hard to find

Posted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Staff, apartment except doors
Cons: SIGNAGE, inside & out. too many doors in apartment & would be better with cards not key to open door into apartment
Location: Good location near city centre
I drove past the place 4 times before I found it. It's mssive lovely place but managment need to spend some £'s on signage. To be called the Blue Rainbow hotel then have the smallest sign on the outsde in red isn't very helpful. Also need better signage inside. Staff very helpful & friendly. I would go there again but for my first time there wasn't a nice experience because of lack of signs. Parking could be better as well. They should do it thatyou don't need to get out of car. A pain having to park by reception, get a code then having to drive around the corner, get out, put the code into the the machine, get back in car to drive in. Very nice apartment but could do with something to hold doors open, pain going from bedroom to kitchen having to open the 2 doors each time which creaked a little so hard to keep quiet late at night.

midweek stay.... amazing find and value !!

Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, many bars nearby which we hadn't really been to , staff great
Cons: a bigger sign on the door , nearly missed it
We were going to stay the weekend before somewhere else but after work commitment had to cancel so looked for a midweek stay to make up for it! , so glad we did. These apartments are great , first time we had stayed here as we normally stay nearer to Piccadilly but will definitely be staying again. On arrival although very busy the receptionist was totally professional and made sure we knew what we were doing , where we were going and that they were there if required. The apartment was first class , clean , tidy and kitted out with everything whether there for one day or one week. We made our own breakfast which actually added to the experience and the dishwasher took care of the washing up !! We would definitely recommend staying here as although as stated earlier we are normally across the city there is so much so close to these apartments and we are looking to stay again for a planned outing in the Summer

Not good if you want a good nights sleep.

Hard to find. no obvious on building. Now the apartment is nice but layout is totally wrong. the bedroom is right on the landing. the two blinds did not block out lights that were on all night. rooms ending in 1 are right by stairs so people coming in at night are literally walking past your head as you try to sleep. running the water made the entire apartment vibrate ..like someone drilling in room. at checkout receptionist never asked if stay was ok ..just if i had taken anything from the fridge. would not use if you want a good nights sleep.

Manchester Aparthotel

Posted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Space afforded meant it was very comfortable for family to spend time in without being on top of each other. Great location.
Cons: Did not have free Wi-Fi and despite having lots of space could have done with more seating in living area
Booked late and delighted with deal. Hotel was as described and everything was to a very high standard. Easy to find and location ideal.

Will definitely return!!!

Myself and two other friends went for a night away to celebrate! On arrival...car parking is a good price..and under the hotel (very secure). Lobby area small (no toilet after a long journey was not the best start), big queue at check in time of 3pm, but staff were lovely and got down the queue in no time. The apartment...WOW....absolutely fantastic, felt like a home away from home, lovely decor, clean, great facilities, and extremely spacious. Only niggle I would say was that there was no drink vending machine in the hotel, or pop available to purchase from the in room bar (need a fizzy beverage after a drinking session). All in all a great place to stay, and I wanted to stay more than one night!! Oh yeah, depending on how far your apartment is from the lift area will affect the wifi connection, hit and miss until we sat in the front bedroom. Well worth a stay though.

Great value for money

Not the easiest place to find and first impressions make it feel like your miles away from the town centre but there is a car park 2 minutes away which costs just £4 for 24 hours and it's only a leisurely 10 minute walk to Canal Street and the city centre. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could need during your stay.
