Good place to stay when waiting for a flight next day

“Great option close to the airport”

I stayed at this hotel in July 2007 for one night. I had a connecting flight the following morning, and was looking for an inexpensive solution. This hotel has a frequent shuttle service which is free of charge and runs on time. I suggest, you email the hotel to obtain the shuttle bus schedule beforehand. The hotel is only about 10 min ride from the airport. The room itself was very clean and tidy. (carpet was a bit old, but other than that, the room was in an excellent shape)The staff was very friendly and helpful, and if you arrive after hours and are hungry, ask at the front desk and you will have a choice of a freshly made sandwich and drinks. I would strongly recommend this hotel. Enjoy!

Cheap, comfortable, clean and quick service. All I wanted after getting off a plane.

Very close to Manchester airport. Clean comfortable rooms. Not too expensive. Efficient bus service to the airport. Easy to find.

“Good value for short stay”

We stayed at this hotel one night before departing at Manchester Airport. The hotel is 1960's era so a little worn with no bellman but the bed was comfortable, room spacious and clean. It was located near the airport with FREE shuttle service to and from and in a nice neighborhood and you could walk to a village. Good for the money!

“Good for a pre flight overnight”

We stayed the one night before a flight back to Canada and found the hotel practical and close to the airport. As an English hotel it was better than I expected, clean relatively well kept and quiet. I don't normally holiday in hotels but I would certainly use the hotel for an overnight or business trip

“Far better than I expected”

After reading the reviews, I was really expecting the worst. I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were great, extremely helpful. The rooms were small, with a few scuff marks, but absolutely fine. They were clean and pleasant. I didn't eat here, so can't comment, although the prices were excessive. The shuttle is great, a large coachline bus. At the airport, there are two bus terminals. You want the main one, not the shuttle one. Check with the Supervisor office as the shuttle coaches arrive at the last 3 stalls by this office. They can tell you when the next shuttle will come. If needed, there is a Tesco about 4 blocks away. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
