“good rate, not bad for quick overnight”

stayed there as driving break from burlington, vt to boothbay harbor, maine. only problem was long walk from check in desk down long, long hallway to room. moved car around back so quicker departure/loading up car in morning. room was clean. a plus was didn't hear others, or doors, etc.

“Excelent ~ except for the cot!”

We had a great time ~ it was quiet, clean, convenient, and the staff members we saw were friendly. However, we would not recommend getting the cot for anyone to sleep on ~ it was bouncy and uncomfortable. But, I certainly would return!

“Good for stopover”

The front desk was friendly and efficient and the room was completely satisfactory. Little to speak of in terms of food service for the breakfast. Good basic place to stay if you are not looking for luxury or extensive eating amenities. Good cool refreshiing pool next to basic workout room.

“DECENT VALUE”

THREE THINGS THE FRONT DESK CLERK UPON ARIVAL WAS A VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE. HE WAS A RED HEADED YOUNG MAN VERY EAGER TO BE OF SERVICE. OUR ROOM CLIMATE CONTROL SYSYTEM WAS EITHER FULL BLAST OR OFF. ...LOW SPEED WAS NOT WORKING AND HENCE OUR SLEEP COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT BETTER. OUR MAID RAPPED ON OUR DOOR THREE TIMES BETWEEN 9:30 AM AND 11:00 AM. CHECK OUT TIME IS TWELVE NOON. IF THE DEAD BOLT HAD NOT BEEN ENGAGED WE WOULD HAVE HAD A THIRD PERSON, UNINVITED, IN OUR ROOM. VERY AGGRAVATING.

“Marriott Courtyard is a good value; nearby choices are better”

This is a typical Courtyard Marriott. Service was very friendly. Breakfast is buffet and flat-fee $10, no lunch (they sell some things you can heat in hotel's Microwave). Location is good. They didn't change sheets over four days. Internet was good. USA Today and Wall Street J were available at no charge. I prefer the nearby Holiday Inn which has a full kitchen.

Area recommendations

This is right near the airport. Downtown is a ten minute drive.

“Manchester, NH - Nice”

Had a short great stay, hotel was clean. Room was great. Great location and easy to get to the surrounding areas. The breakfast buffet was good as was the service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Manchester, NH area.

Area recommendations

Downtown Manchester was great - we ate at "FireFly" fantastic meal, highly recommend to everyone.

“Don't book through an online site”

While I have no complaints about this hotel, they are clearly incapable of dealing with online travel sites. Both when I checked in and when I checked out, I waited over 10 minutes as the person in front of me in line had booked their travel online and the person working the desk couldn't confirm that they had already paid. Now the same is happening to me as I have been charged TWICE by this hotel on top of being charged by Expedia. When I called the hotel to find out when happened, they charged me again! Nothing is wrong with this hotel in terms of cleanliness, convenience, etc, but the hassle of being overcharge is not worth it!

“Great location and value”

The room was clean and ready for early check-in, which I appreciated. Staff members were very pleasant and helpful, even with scheduling a 4:15 am shuttle to the airport for me when I requested it at 3:00 am.
